My IMEI number isn't null , but i still have the no service signal problem and every time I power on the phone it either display the "no service" or the "invalid imei" messages in the lower part of the screen. I beg for your help :(
Ok people, listen to me. I know some of you are saying that this is not working for you. Let me explain more clearly. You will have to reinstall your ROM software. This means downloading your software for your phone, kind of like you need an operating system for your computer. It is the same for a cell phone. Find the software you use (Android) and then find the version your phone uses, or if you like choose one you would like to use. Example, if you have Ice Cream Sandwich and you want to upgrade to Jelly Bean. Then find the version number. And make sure your phone is compatible with this software. Once you do this, the phone will automatically restore all the settings that are stored in the phone, such as your serial number and your IMEI. But you will not have access to it just yet. That is when you will have to follow my steps to get what you need restored. I am only telling you what worked for me, because I almost bricked my phone and I had to undo all the crap I did to it. If it works for you without doing all those other steps then great. But if not, then it is likely you will have to do what I did. I hope this helps. And to get your software, or flash rom software just look it up on google. There are lots of download sites. Plenty of options available and it is all free.
I have a note 3 and did restored settings, after was done it told me invalid imei and not registered on network. thank u bro u saved my sim card. 1.download champhelon app from playstore. 2.remove battery and back case of your phone and there u will see imei for 2 sim card. 3.note them on a paper. 4.on ur phone and in "champhelon" app write those imei 's and click apply.THatS It... RESTART UR PHONE....
People when you root, and flash a custom recovery, when you click backup before you backup your ROM, just put a check mark on EFS and back it up!!!! Copy the EFS backup of the computer to a safe place. When this happens, no IMEI, nul IMEI all you have to do is restore the EFS backup you made and you will have IMEI again. You guys should read up on stuff before messing with your phones!!

Douglas Page Ok.. I presume this IMEI wipe happened when factory resetting in stock recovery... If you are rooted, can you use a file explorer that can get to the root of the device and navigate to the EFS folder? It should be on the root of the device..

Hi all, for some devices the service mode command is not *#197328640# but *#0011#. This will redirect you to service mode. Click on menu options and select Key imput and type: Q0000 (yes with capitals) and after a few seconds you will be redirected to Main Menu.

Sania Sa no luck. I ended up giving up and buying a new phone. I have experienced the same problem with my new phone, and it turns out that adjusting the SIM card inside the slot can make the difference. Try re-inserting the SIM.
When I do the IMEI number check, it doesn't have a number or say "Null". It's just blank. And when I bring up service mode, "COMMON" is option 3, not 6 (Maybe a different firmware), but most importantly, there is no FTM option. If this doesn't work, try disabling wifi/wifi-calling if either are on. Just spent an hour trying all this in depth solutions, changing radio frequencies, etc. Nothing worked. Decided to try all the basic fixes one more time before giving up, turned off wifi-calling, signal came right through. If you just reset the phone and never registered it on a network before turning wifi on, that's usually the problem. The wifi is always on blocking the actual cellular signal from ever connecting. After it connects initially, then you can always have wifi on.

Please write down the imei number on the back of your phone.after that go to GPRS. There you just key in your imei number... Then it is finish... No worries. There should be a sticker on your phone, it should be on the outside. It is a very very small one. I found mine on the top of my phone, and it told me my phone was 3G HSDPA, which tells me what type of network I need when I am in those phone settings. I am not sure where yours would be, but look for the sticker. Hope that helps.

I think your service settings are in the GPRS settings. I am not sure what it would be because all phones are different. But I think I did read about that somewhere. You might want to check it out online. Thanks for watching!

Factory Rom 4.4.4 But just rooted the device with odin. (Note 4 SH-N910w8 Koodo in Canada)

On android 4.4.2, you will get "Mobile Network not Available", if you are trying to fix null IMEI. Ideas?

nothing is showing my IMEI I tried the initial star pound 06 pound and then the second one you showed, but my phone does nothing, I tried it on my galaxy s5 it worked but I want to try it on my note 4, from us cellular and nothing, any suggestions? i did open the back, looked under the battery and I tried the number there, on the unlock site that is unlock river and they keep reporting that is not my imei, I agree, its a shorter number and I really have no idea why its not showing up?

Hello may I ask you something? Maybe you can help me with my phone problem. So my phone suddenly has no service and at first I thought it was because of the sim card but after I change the sim card into the new one it still didnr work on my S4 so i move it into another phone andnit work, then i found out that my IMEI is null and so now my S4 is work with wifi only.. can you help me with my problem? I think your service settings are in the GPRS settings. I am not sure what it would be because all phones are different. But I think I did read about that somewhere. You might want to check it out online. Thanks for watching!
