      @@THISMUSEUMISNOTOBSOLETE That thing is going to rock when it comes out. I heard an April release. You can even split the poly sequencing into the 4 voice CV stuffs! The Cirklon's capabilities are nutszo though. Having recently tried to clamp Safety to Animal Crossing's sequencer's limitations i can "safely" say that yeah, you kinda need more steps.

      LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER BUT MORE SERIOUS ISH are you using ck patterns for drums? We use a cirklon as well and prefer using a bank of tracks as p3 patterns for each drum. Makes mute performance live a lot easier. As for the half time stuff you could copy the pattern and change the time scale for it. Set it as the fill pattern of the track and there ya go.

    64 tracks at the same time with the Cirklon. Check out CK tracks for drums and linear sequencing with pretty much unlimited polyphony, depending on memory. P3 tracks are step sequences but have serious power with their aux functions - almost make the Elektron sequencer look like a toy.

    you can think of beringer what you want. But the x32 line (also the full blown mixer) is actually pretty decent. Beringer bought MIDAS, who was the actual manifacturer of these products, and so they still use the same high quality preamps for example. I do own a Midas branded mixer (M32) and i'm very happy with it. 1,5 years later for backup i got myself a Behringer x32 for 60% of the price of the Midas one...

    You can get into half steps with the fill button, by having the same pattern copied to the fill pattern, and make that pattern half speed...thats how i do it.
    If you want to continue half step, you’ll need to switch to another scene though.
    Ratcheting the same method, but double speed on the fill. Might not be exactly what you want...
    Another ratcheting method could be using masking repeats with the turn of the a/b knobs.
    Needs a bit of pre programming, but possible.

      And a P3 can have a maximum of 256 steps. CK patterns can be as long as you like.

      @juliaseppi2205 4 года назад

      I have to add that drums are easy on the Cirklon. I don't really use CK for drums. I use P3 so every drum has it's own track.

      If you want to be doing half time patterns on the Cirklon, then you could use the fill functions to achieve this.

      @@juliaseppi2205 indeed however the process you outline aren't immediate, Ie can be done within a few seconds. and if drums are on separate tracks you can't record in multiple at the same time. its cool! but recording and performing live is another thing. I dont every start with anything on sequencers. I never save owt, and build it up live and this is just a few things which slows down that process

      @juliaseppi2205 4 года назад

      @@THISMUSEUMISNOTOBSOLETE OK, you don't save anything? Maybe cirklon is not the right choice of sequencer for you as to get the most out of it you need to be saving stuff! First and foremost you need to be saving your instrument definitions, it'd be a nightmare having to be remaking those all the time:). Saving templates for what's on which track is important also, For example a blank template of all your definitions assigned to particular instruments so you're ready to go from the off can save you hours of donkey work . Its not a turn it on and go thing unless you tailor it to suit your needs, cheers.

      yep it is quite lucky. I mean the cave isn't really much, this was the cheapest flat we could find to rent, the cave was full of the landlords rubbish, so I asked them kindly just before the pandemic if I cleared it for em I could use it! as for money for gear yes its fab, I spent a very long time living very very cheaply in some very dodgy places and plenty of odd jobs to make sure I could pursue some sort of music career and its finally sort of paying off to justify spending nearly everything I earn on justifiable music gear haha. luck is indeed a part of it but there was a lot of sacrifice and planning ahead that came with it, I mean I still have no money after that to go out and enjoy life, but my enjoyment is from my job so screw it :D. no holidays as Fred Dibnah used to say.
