South East Asian Dory are all highly chemical treated. For that price, you can't get a proper fish and chips. Best fish for fish & chips: Cod, haddock, pollock, halibut. These are deep sea fish which costs a lot but of course taste is good. All those tartar sauce looked mediocre and fast food quality though, not properly made.
There're many kinds of Dory from Vietnam, Thailand and Indonesia. All are chemical treated. The cheapest ones are usually fishy/muddy taste. Cream dory, pacific dory, so called premium dory etc. Well, for that price...you can't expect good quality

We ate there before long time ago. Thought to give others a chance too since Cor Blimey has been around for a long time.
You can try out Lad Fry at Wisma Cosway. So far my favourite beer battered fish n chips.
