I wanted to keep this video as short as possible (cuz most people don't watch videos through the end lmao) but in short detail, the GMMK 2 is an amazing keyboard for anyone who is getting started on customizing keyboards or upgrading along the way. And for only $120? That's insane! Even the HyperX alloy origin 65% doesn't include hot-swappable switches. I know there are some other keyboards out there that may surpass the GMMK 2 (one of my friends who knows a lot about keyboards gave me a bunch of recommendations) but I chose it because most people were giving the GMMK 2 praise and it is like a liter version of the GMMK Pro at a significantly low price. And if I want to upgrade the switches then I can do that easily. Sorry if my voice sounds off, I haven't spoken with anyone since a few days. omg 3:32 i forgot to add "might *be" i hate myself.
I bought this keyboard about two months ago and I love it. I ordered the pink pudding capped keys from Glorious so more of the RGB shows. It’s such a great keyboard at a decent price. Shipping to Canada through their third party was a nightmare though and took half a month. But it finally arrived.
The GMMK 2 is my first hot swappable keyboard as well and I love this thing before and after modding (even more after tho lol). I did a few mods to make it sound and feel better those being swapping out the switches to Gateron milky yellow pros, lubing the stock stabilizers/Band-Aid mod, PE foam mod, tape mod, and changing out the keycaps. I think best bang for buck/easiest would be to do the "PE foam mod" this is free came since it came in the box and the "tape mod" which is just painters tape on the bottom of the PCB.
I have GMMK 2 96% for some time now and it's an amazing keyboard for me. I changed the switches to Gateron Yellow Pro because in my opinion they sound better and keycaps to my old Pudding keycaps from Steelseries so the RGB is really bright, however I am thinking about buying the new polychroma glorious keycaps. I think it's a very good keyboard for gaming, I played CS:GO on it, Minecraft and more games and it never dissapointed me. I recommend this keyboard.
the switches feel nice and i dont think im going to change it anytime soon. really nice keyboard compared to my blackwidow. it's really easy to change the switches.
well that depends. if you just want to buy a keyboard and don't have plans to customize it like the switches then go for the hyperx since its also cheaper.
@@skyrimgameplayzX i dont have any experience with the hyperx since i never tried it but if you care about the value you're getting then go for the gmmk 2. it's only $30 more and what you're getting are hot swappable switches, change keycaps, and adjust settings via software.

Hello xFlame !

Will you change the switches ?
Thanks!
the switches feel nice and i dont think im going to change it anytime soon. really nice keyboard compared to my blackwidow. it's really easy to change the switches.
@@xFlame_ ok thanks :)
Hi :) what do you think hyperx alloy origins or gmmk2 ?
well that depends. if you just want to buy a keyboard and don't have plans to customize it like the switches then go for the hyperx since its also cheaper.
@@xFlame_ so its better if you dont customize it? Is gmmk 2 better for quality not customize

What client do you use
Which color would you recommend
Depends on your setup but choose black if you don’t want to see the keyboard dirty overtime.
@@xFlame_ ok
Btw what’s that pack in the vid
Also is it really that noticeable after 2 months
My keyboard got noticeably dirty after a few weeks but it barely affect the keycaps to feel too oily. I think the pack is Sapphire 16x.
subbed for you!
lmao, epic ending!
tbh im really not feeling the floating switch design
Hey does this keyboard work on console?
if the games support it then yes
My guy actually stream snipe the finalmouse lol
bro i had to lmao. good thing is that it was still in stock for 6+ hours so everyone can get it.

@@xFlame_ yep, the keycaps are kinda sweaty tho but that’s my fault
