What an AWESOME idea! Super cute and unique! I have the perfect jacket - an old Levi jacket I haven't worn in years and the perfect yarn to use, too. Thank you for sharing this clever creation!
Ive been planning a jacket up-cycle like this and i was going to do it completely differently by crocheting the sleeves first and adding them on afterwards, but I like this better. I also like the idea of using the thread rather than poking holes in the denim.
Fantastic!!!! I love this. Thank you, I can't wait to try my jacket. I will probably make it less puffy but this is beautiful and a great idea. Thank you again. I just finished making your wind spinner. Love it.
This is beautiful. I'm going to try this with quilter's thread vs doubling the thread. Hopefully it won't take away from the drape. Thanks for sharing.
That sounds beautiful! And exactly what I said in the video. Use your favorite stitches to customize and really make it your own. Thank you for the comment!
@@michelledenning2381 I"ve never worked in any mosaic stitches. I need to go from one design to the next super quick so I can't use very complicated, or overly worked stitches. This doesn't explain what overlay mosaic is...you have to see it rather than read a description. Do a YT search. It's beautiful...but not for me.
Thank you so much. The jacket was a great thrift store find and the yarn was Walmart cheap, but soft and comfy. So, yes, I plan to wear it often. THank you for continuing to watch and comment. Blessings in return.
Thank you for sharing this project! I too loved this idea when I saw it in the show, it was called The First, with Sean Penn. I tried to do one but I failed! I will try it again!😊
YES YES YES! Wow, you were able to figure out the show I saw this on from the little bit I said. I remember Sean Penn jogging shirtless (a lot) and thinking how ripped he looked. LOL. Thank you for coming on and reminding me of the show. I hope it works for you this time.
@@CrazyCoolCrochet yes he looks really good for his age, lol. I read the canceled the show after the first season, I was sad about it, I really enjoyed it!
Now this is a very creative and beautiful re-purpose. Love love love it!!!! Awesome job!😍

What is an overlay mosaic? I've been crocheting for 10+ years, never heard of it.

Halle-looooo! Luv it!

Please explain the "turn". Do you turn and then go a different direction? Working in a round why do you turn? Thank you
Turn means turn the work as you normally would and continue in the pattern. You can turn when working in the round.
@@CrazyCoolCrochet Thank you. I figured it out. :)
