    Love this. I think I would try it with thin fishing line, which would be much stronger to hold.

    Genius concept! I love this idea. You could also do a crochet skirt to attach to the hem, transforming this piece into a dress.

    Ive been planning a jacket up-cycle like this and i was going to do it completely differently by crocheting the sleeves first and adding them on afterwards, but I like this better. I also like the idea of using the thread rather than poking holes in the denim.

    This is beautiful. I'm going to try this with quilter's thread vs doubling the thread. Hopefully it won't take away from the drape. Thanks for sharing.

      What is an overlay mosaic? I've been crocheting for 10+ years, never heard of it.

      @@michelledenning2381 I"ve never worked in any mosaic stitches. I need to go from one design to the next super quick so I can't use very complicated, or overly worked stitches. This doesn't explain what overlay mosaic is...you have to see it rather than read a description. Do a YT search. It's beautiful...but not for me.

    Please explain the "turn". Do you turn and then go a different direction? Working in a round why do you turn? Thank you

      Turn means turn the work as you normally would and continue in the pattern. You can turn when working in the round.
