He's a Liverpool fan who is doing a massive favour financially for a competitive rival whilst leaving the club he loves out of pocket. Anyone else, fine , but a boyhood Liverpool fan and born and bred scouser, i just wouldn't expect it.
If I wasn’t already tired of the entitled, petulant behaviour displayed by Real and their fans during the whole Ballon D’or ceremony, that comment section certainly did it.
This arrogance will be their downfall, it’s one thing to say you’re the best, but then to belittle other teams and their fans is something we see with these fans all the time. Disgraceful.
I completely agree laurence, I resent Real Madrid and I'm well in my right to resent Real Madrid for everything they represent, we are free to feel that proudly.
Completely agree with your stance. If Trent wants to leave, that’s his choice, but him going to Real would sting. Real's culture as a club is so different from Liverpool's, I feel like it's much more about entitlement to success than the hard work Liverpool values, and their fans only prove this point. That said, things are complex. We can be grateful for all Trent has done while also feeling let down by the way he’s handling a potential free move. The values and fanbases of the two clubs couldn’t be more different, which is why it wouldn't feel right to see Trent in a Real shirt. This would absolutely taint his legacy at the club, and I’m fine with feeling bitter about it, we have every reason to.
In terms of having a realistic view of Real Madrid, I have the following to say: 1. In any historically dominant or current dominant clubs, these fans have a level of arrogance (united in the 1990s and 2000s/ Barcelona in the Messi era/Bayern in the Bundesliga/ current Man City fans). I think you are conflating this point to Real Madrid fans which isn't the case. Man United fans have felt bigger than other clubs in England during the Fergerson era and Man City fans feel the same way under Pep. A Successful era of a club comes with arrogant fans, it is just that Real Madrid has had a greater number of successful eras than any other club and is currently in one. 2. There is also a 'subjective' abuse of power from these clubs during their peaks; subjective means that not all football fans think of it as a negative. For example, you brought up the PR associated with Madrid's recent transfer strategy of unsettling players at their respective clubs. This strategy is nothing new in football as the elite of top football utilize this strategy (Bayern, Man City, Man United, PSG, Barcelona, Juventus, etc..) including Liverpool in recent times. PR is about selling yourself in the best possible light. In recent years due to Real Madrid's dominance in Europe, the city's lifestyle, and the history of the club, the potency of this very tactic is evident in our current squad (Alaba, Rudiger, Mbappe, Jude, Camavinga, Tchouameni). These players are all world-class players/talents who only had an eye (based on media reports) for Real Madrid. This can be seen as an unfair advantage therefore immoral. I think Madrid's PR is nothing new is football, but it is just the effectiveness of our PR that leaves a bad taste in football fans. 3. Real Madrid's elitism is not unique in sports: Lakers, Patriots, Celtics. When you have won the most titles in a sport, it is seen as a privilege to be a part of that sporting team as usually the legends of that very sport are associated with that team (except Michael Jordan). Football is the most watched sport in the world and Europe is seen as the pinnacle of the sport (which in itself is very elitist). The biggest competition in Europe is the Champions League and Real Madrid has won the most with a lot of the football’s greatest playing for this club before Perez was even President. The elitism would have always been there regardless of having 'Real' in the name of the club. Is elitism bad? Yes, but in the connotation of watching 22 human beings kicking a ball for 90 minutes, I would say it is not what is in front of football fans' minds. I do acknowledge football can be bigger than just sports, but at the end of the day, it is an escape for many people around the world to enjoy. 4. I believe you have a problem with Florentino Perez. Is Perez is most ethical club president? I believe we all know the answer to that. But with every rule, there has to be a reason why leaders are repeatedly elected. Florentino Perez is a failed politician and a billionaire, who was kicked out during his first run at the club due to poor on-pitch performance. The reason he is still the current president at Real Madrid is because of the on-the-pitch success. He is currently the president with the MOST trophies at the club. With success comes loyalty and the benefit of the doubt. Perez had earned the trust of most Madrid fans and most will follow him due to this success. Is it always right? No, but it is the circumstance that Real Madrid as a club find themselves in and the track record speaks for itself. 5. MOST fans do not care about the politics of the club, they support a club for the players/manager/local association of that club. The reason I am a real Madrid fan (born in the UK, grew up in Nigeria, and live in the US), was because of Cristiano Ronaldo. In 2009, when he moved to La Liga (I was 9 at the time), I was a full-on CR7 fanboy. Over the years of watching Real Madrid, understanding the history, and loving other players in the team, I became a full-on fan. It was not until my late teens that I truly got to see the political sides of the Real Madrid/Barcelona rivalry. Whichever side you are on, wouldn't change the past, or the current reflection of the club with each side claiming the moral high ground. The reason Liverpool has a global fan base is because of the history of the clubs, past/current players, and THEIR SUCCESS IN EUROPE (plus the premier league being an English-speaking league for worldwide consumption). It may be deemed as a bonus when diving into the politics of the club, but it is not a determining factor when supporting a club for most football fans. Whether you believe you are more than a fan because of your political ties to a club then so be it. I think the views you have on Real Madrid, Laurence, would be different if you were from another part of the UK not just the world. This makes your opinions subjective and personal, which shouldn’t be invalidated. But I feel you are conflating your beliefs as TRUTH and just, rather than a rife you have with the ‘BEST’ club in the world (writing condescendingly). P.S. I actually like Liverpool and have no problem with the club as Mo Salah is a great player and voted for Vini for the FIFA Best Award. Trent would as be a good player for Madrid and I would love him in my club. Love watching your videos!
I agree with your take. I'm a global Madrid fan and definitely don’t care as much as a local Madrid-born Spaniard. I watch these games purely for entertainment. I definitely had a phase (when I was younger) where a defeat really affected my mood for a short time. But as I got older, I reasoned myself out of that. I enjoy people arguing about football, but sometimes the statements people make are just ridiculous (though I guess that's part of the fun). Real Madrid fans being arrogant is generally expected. Why should they be humble? It's a bragging right. Where’s the fun if you support the most successful sports team and don’t brag? (As you mentioned, it happens in all competitive sports.) Are there obnoxious ones? You bet. I always find Lawrence’s Real Madrid compliments backhanded, which makes him come across as salty. When it comes to the La Liga vs. Prem competitiveness debate, it’s fun to have, but it mostly comes down to preference. And oh, Liverpool is definitely NOT on the same level as Real Madrid. No one really is.
Can't be bothered. We are more interested in our club. It's Madrid fans that talk about us. Or Madrid the club that try to buy our best players. The guy is simply responding to all the nonsense Madrid fans posts on his channel. Kinda funny though if Real Madrid truly are the best club in the world, why even bother about us 😅
Socios owned does NOT mean socialist. Different things. Never ever implied an imperialist club like madrid is a socialist club. It just means the equity is owned by socios (members). If Madrid goes public, the socios will be the shareholders. And perez doesn't own any percentage of the club. He is a very popular dictator though. But he has no more eventual equity than any other long running socios. What perez is what in politics we often call 'elected autocracy'. He was once kicked out but it is increasingly harder now. Majority socios support him. I am a leftist myself, in the most blatant way you can think but i started supporting madrid at a very young age. I support catalonian independence but I also understand how it is weaponised by another socios owned but highly capitalist club (Barcelona). We all are hypocritical in our own ways. I just pointed yours. That's it. There is a very specific reason I understand the scouse history and liverpool's legacy around it. However, every club is capitalist at this point, we all deal with it in different ways.
Yeah I had a conversation with what I'm assuming was a Madrid fan. And in his little world he assumed since Madrid needs a RB and that apparently Trent is going there in the summer then liverpool are supposed to let Trent move in January. Even if Trent is 100% going in the summer in what world would liverpool and even Trent want to move in the middle of the season? So the club can get 20 million? It's worth more to keep Trent until the end of the season then to sell him now at a cut price.
With free transfers, new laws need to be made to level out the constant convincing players to run down their contracts with a big signing on fee replacing the transfer fee. Maybe the current club still receive what the player is worth or there’s a cap on signing on fees or there are more sanctions to tapping up players using agents
@kieran9882 the problem really us player values have skyrocketed and for some players a free transfer is the only way they can change clubs. Think about mbappe I doubt any club could actually pay what PSG wanted for him when he was under contract.
@@evandipasquale9255 True. I think it should be within reason of course, more like some form of compensation based on player value, judged by an independent tribunal
@@kieran9882 yeah I'm not very familiar when a club is owed compensation for a players development. If I had to guess the player has to be sold before a certain age, because Trent has been at the club for 20 yrs. That is a lot of time and money invested in his development and the club should receive something for that effort, if he does actually leave at the end of the season.
i’m an admirer of real madrid. but man oh man majority of the fanbase act so entitled and spoiled it’s crazy. like no wonder people dont like real madrid 😂
@Imoooor 🤣🤣🤣🤣 have you listened to literally any madrid fans. Never met such a bunch of entitled pricks. Like never had a good talk with one that didnt end in insults or shit talking. And i know americans. I just dont think the idiots are used to being so trash lately 😆😆 theyre all still hurting over the drubbing we gave them let them cry for a bit
The dangerous thing for me is that I just cant understand why he would be want to leave… I get the money and lifestyle arguments but its not like he won’t get a big bag at Liverpool either. Aswell as looking at it from a Club perspective, Liverpools future looks so bright dominating both the prem and the Champions League. Not to mention its his boyhood club and he would be a future captain and legend for the Club if he stays.
@magnusthomassen5743 You don’t understand the desire for players to put on the infamous white shirt of Madrid? I think Liverpool fans acting dumb is the problem here
Okay. Devil's advocate, as to why he might want Madrid: Big signing fee & wages. A nicer climate. Chance to live abroad, in a major capital. More chance of silverware for Madrid, in La Liga (how many times do you see people saying "show us your trophies" or words to that effect). An easier life, potentially. Madrid will have more easier games than LFC. The style of the league seems less demanding than the prem. Possibly less pressure. He won't be the local lad. Probably not one of the biggest names at the club (or just one of a group of galacticos). There may be personal issues we don't know about. In, or outside of LFC. We don't know. Chance to play with new global megastars, like Mbappe, Bellingham et al. Might just want a change. Just to try something new. Expand his horizons.
As an international person, it's natural to want a different experience. Like he said, he's been there for 20 years. I'm a one club fan, but I'd totally jump on an opportunity to Ibra it around the world. Change is good, and despite how we'd love to have him at least for another couple years winning under slot, he only has one life and can choose for himself. It's very possible its not entirely for footballing reasons, and he might start valuing other priorities over legacy and captaincy.
I think the commercial allure around RM turned his head. Jude starting RUclips channel and clips that shows each RM player getting a BMW and other commercial aspects
Learn from what??? They literally beat you all the freaking time!! go look at your overall record against them. Liverpool in just the last 5 years have lost 3 times to Madrid in knock out Ties and then they beat you National Team in the European Final What Madness is this comparing yourselves to Them???? Wow
@@alextv293Amazing how insecure some of these guys are 😂 But given the amount of 'freaking' and 'EPL' in their comments, it's clear not many of them are Spanish fans.
@@chiefmwase4562Ofc we would would we are one of the biggest club in the world and the biggest in England we are the same level as a Barca and Bayern and Madrid idk why your talking
I just found your channel, and I really enjoy listening to your perspective, coming from a madridista. I will say the reason why LaLiga is so hard to win is cause Barca and Atleti are usually so above the rest of the league that they are able to rack up points weekly. Basically, in LaLiga there’s very little room for error, usually. The level of competition in the Prem is extremely high, and that’s what makes it such a fun league to follow and to watch. But I’m not sure if winning the Prem is necessarily harder/easier than winning LaLiga.
The teams u play against are easier than the prem if Brighton was in La liga they would get into top 4 and they don’t even get into top 6 over here the prem is definitely harder to win
@ Correct, the Prem is more competitive, just not harder/easier to win. There’s a difference. Cause Barca and Atletico are so much better than every other laliga team they still get a lot of points making the league harder to win.
@@Andres-dh8ky if a league is more competitive it’s more harder…. Liverpool are able to draw to Fulham or struggle against Brighton bc most games are hard if Madrid isn’t playing aleti or Barca then then that’s simple three points for them except this season obviously they have been struggling and just lost today
Great mature apology about the Franco stuff. Dont know the context but soooo many immature people online its nice to see :) (and without compromising your point and prostrating yourself for forgiveness)
The issue is that when fans follow a team there are players that the fan base warms to. They welcome them into their lives and the interaction between them, they’re almost like their best friends. The player then leaves and it feels like your best friend has deserted you, this is why fans find it hard when they leave.
I think people should also realize that this whole contract scenario can go on until late june.. as unsatisfying as it sounds, we are not entitled to receive any news / contract announcements as quick as we want. What we should do is back our players as long as they are our players to make this season as successful as possible!
this is why i like NA fandom better. it is more relaxed and good natured and we can take chirps on the chin. we also understand; the Leafs always lose :(
I could understand Trent's interest(?) In Real Madrid. But I'm watching this Liverpool team and thinking 'big things could be around the corner (though I don't think they've been brilliant - that excites me). The ride for a local Scouser would be absolutely amazing. You can't buy that!
No one has really touched on the whole captaincy issue. Its both interesting in respect to, why both Vvd and Trent are still "in talks" and also why should Trent ASK to be captain?! As far as Im concerned, thats earned ! Big V has earned respect at our club, both of the fans, players and management. You cannot ASK for that role... Its earned and given to you. I really dislike this, as a stipulation for staying at Liverpool.
Thinking OMG is he gonna pick out my comment when I had a beer too much. Guess not, Loz can figure that out. Love the reading of the comments, keep it going Loz
I’m disappointed but not necessarily upset. IMO, this is no different than any other young adult that leaves their family and friends behind in their hometown to go pursue a new opportunity or passion.
Remember a journalist saying something about "brain fog" to Jürgen and him misunderstanding saying "brain fuck?" At this point my brain is foggy and fucked with the triple contract saga. Bobby Firmino leaving broke my football heart, weirdly Trent going to Madrid won't although I'll be disappointed. Great channel brother, keep on keepin on ✊️ 🔥 YNWA 🔥
If Trent IS leaving, I feel like part of it is that he feels Bradley deserves his chance. He's a big proponent of the academies and I wouldn't be surprised if he feels that Bradley is ready to be a starter consistently. I don't think he would leave if he thought the club had nobody to take that spot at RB
I think the relationship between sport and reality is very interesting and something you explored very well. the feed The scousers thing is consistent with a lot of other fan disrespect but similar to "park park Wherever you may be" there are external overtones to the language being used. That is both hurtful in a way that's not constructive to the sport and dangerous and serious in terms of the wider implications for the culture within the sport. I see sport as a safe way to explore and experience tribalism. But, tribalism plays a very important role in some very dangerous politics, and so for the interest of both the sport and wider society, we need to make sure the tribalism is confined to "Im LFC, youre ManU" and not "Im self sufficient, youre benefit scroungers" or "Im white, youre not"
Am fed up of this. Just come out and say if they are staying or going. ( not just Trent but vvd n Sahla) And if they say they won't extent there contacts, tell them there are been sold. If they sign a free contact with another team then let them rot with the youths team and ban them for contact with the first team, for the remainder of there Liverpool time. If I'm honest I believe Trent is already at real. That celebration he did at west ham was a sign for real to come talk to him I believe. Plus Trent would be just a bench player next season for real because of his average defending. At Liverpool we let him away with it, the real fans wouldnt
A thought regarding being a Liverpool legend vs a cog in the Madrid machine. If he goes on a free, does this potentially impact his role with Madrid? If Madrid don't "splash the cash" to get him, are they going to be as inclined to stick by him if he doesn't hit the ground running? We love Trent, but its easy to say he is not the global icon of an Mbappe, and Madrid will not be putting all their eggs in the basket the same way. With his skill he absolutely could thrive in the roll, but if not do they stick by him the same way Liverpool would.
I am Serbian adopted Scouser, Trent loses legend status same as Owen and Macca if he goes to Madrid, I would rate it as even bigger betrayal as Owen and Macca played for unsuccessful sides, not challenging for league. He stays and he will have a shot at many records, if I am not mistaken he could get most games played for Liverpool if he continues at this pace. That would certainly put him in top ten players of his boyhood club. Does he really wanna mess this up.
I think it's not just people who live in different countries that don't understand the class and City dynamics at work, especially within Liverpool. I am not from Liverpool but my dad is and so I have a second hand account of a deep understanding of the experience of being a scouser, especially when coming into contact with entitled Southerners. But I grew up talking to and relating to other Liverpool fans who weren't scouse in any way and I think there is a large degree of misunderstanding about why Scouse is a separate identity and very little knowledge about managed decline under Thatcher and broader political tensions
Also, under capitalism the feeling of disenfranchisement doesn't necessarily manifest itself as leftist political beliefs and I think the same is true about the general socialism of Liverpool. People feel the impact of managed decline and disrespect from other regions but don't always label it in the way that we would and so can be misguided by bad faith actors
If you believe Trent wants it handled behind closed doors, and you believe Madrid have a superiority complex, and Trent plays for our club, I'm content naively giving him the benefit of the doubt. I'll picture him negotiating with FSG, hearing offers and trying to get FSG to closely match it while he decides wat direction he wants for his life. I'd love him to stay. I'm not blaming him for the circumstance. If he goes, we will be fine. It will be more fun winning everything with him, but I'll forget that thought when we win things without him, should that happen. I appreciate what you do!
Absolute, love your channel, your a refresh from most channels, don't get me wrong anfield agenda is a guilty pleasure, but everyone hates fsg,but critical thinking we are only where we are and the players we have because of them, look at the rest of the league particularly man united,it shows you the right player, right mentality over price, and manager tactics, but I'm blessed for the Times we have now, rather than the 90s,
What is your thoughts on the rumours on his requests on a contract renewal and the captaincy role? I ask as its usually its a role given to who the squad elects over the club dictating or do you feel Liverpools culture is different on how this handled?
Last comment from me (for now!) If he wants to "live a lifestyle" or "see the world" or however you want to phrase "escaping the fish bowl," he can sign with LFC, play out his career, retire at 32 and go live wherever he wants to live. He has the rest of his life to get other experiences.
Back to life Back to reality Football is a SPECTATOR sport. The spectators are the FANS. The participants in the sport are the PLAYERS. It is a FACT that, without the adulation of the spectators the players would be nothing. There is an obligation for BOTH parties to respect each other. Therein lies the root of this problem/situation. The players get paid GOOD money to perform. The spectators pay waaay beyond to watch. Therein also lies an obligation. In what reality does a player owe the fans NOTHING? Have a great 2025 Young Master McKenna 👍👍👍
I don't feel like we're going to know anything concrete until towards the end of the season. Would rather be enjoying the football for now, but all this media hype about contracts is hard to get away from.
Saying Anyone in the top 4 in England would run La Liga when In the last 23 years, Spanish sides - clubs and the national team - have appeared in 22 major finals against teams from other countries. They have won all of them. Infact the overall record of English clubs v Spanish is downright embarrassing. Ita Astonishing the Arrogance that the English Possess.....quite remarkable
I've defended the question about why Spanish teams dominate the Champions League and Europa League, particularly Real Madrid and Sevilla. While Premier League teams play many games, Spanish teams have a different mentality and style that helps them succeed in finals. Sevilla may be considered a smaller team, but their winning mentality shines through. I believe this strong mentality and experience in crucial matches give Spanish teams an edge over English teams.
Real Madrid is the one carrying Spanish teams in Champions league in terms of winning cause in the past 9 years other than Real Madrid , which Spanish team has won it ? cause Man city , Liverpool , Chelsea has won it in the past 6 years and there has been two finals of English teams , Liverpool vs Tottenham Hotspurs 2019 final , Man City vs Chelsea 2021 final.
You literally play one game per week while the English sides can play up to three per week has fuck all to do with mentality and is all about the rest they have.
What were all missing is Bellingham should have come to Liverpool we didn’t buy midfielders because Bellingham was coming we even had AA to tap him up oops Bellingham went to RM, and now we lose AA got tapped up by Bellingham, on international duty. We now lose two world class players to RM, and one of ours on a free.
real fans are crazy lmao! calling barca and real 9's but man city an 8 is just plain old ignorance, id genuinely have bundesliga and serie a as more competitive and difficult leagues. and obviously being a leading side in champions league makes you a top european club, but we've also seen howler teams win tournament football, because its tournament football and thats how it works: if they ever got the super league they wanted, theyd maybe get top 4
I get Liverpool fans resentment towards RM. They have brought a lot of hurt. Still, I feel the anger is directed at the wrong people. It’s an absolute mess that LFC have not only 1, but 3 huge players facing potential free transfers this summer. How on earth did the club manage that?? Salah said today it’s his last year at Anfield (unless he was misquoted) - that means you’re likely to lose 2 out of 3. Furthermore; RM & LFC have a good and respectful relationship club to club, and it’s only natural RM will try to get him now. It could save everyone some face, and either way TAA is a huge market opportunity for RM. Finally; I think it would be wise to not go out so boldly about RM when you’re obviously unfamiliar with how things work with the members and politics. “Socios” does not mean “socialist”, just to make that clear. It’s a capitalist organisation just like all other professional football teams, but the members are the shareholders - not FSG. Perez has flaws, but he’s also brought a lot of success, financial stability, a huge market value and made it the best run football club in the world. I suspect the shareholders are very happy. Let’s hope the two clubs meet in CL this spring and see who comes out on top. Cheers 🍻

It got nothing to do with Real Madrid. Its a love affair with Jude.. Have you seen how they look at each other? Check Trents Bday with the engand team video...Our vice captain needs to wear the rainbow armband.
Liverpool fans crying over TAA need to grow up. He’s won it all at Liverpool. He wants a new challenge you’re not his parents who can force him to say. Fans should be gegenpressing the owners for letting his contract run out!
I'm sorry you are completely and utterly wrong here. La liga have double prems UCL and Europa in just the last decade. So whenever they meet they get beaten in the cups. So the only on pitch metrics shows la liga is double your league in quality. Running around more doesn't make your league better it makes your league more stupid. City literally play slow la liga football and walked your league the last 10 years. La liga and Spanish football is better than English in every single way. Don't mistake your arcade ball with quality. Even serie a right now is catching up to prem. A then 5th placed atalanta came to anfield and easily beat Liverpool. Stop confusing marketing with on pitch quality
We're literally talking about this season, mate. Champions League table has 3 EPL teams in the top 8 clubs with only one from Spain. Taking trophy as the only metric misses the entire point of what we are saying...so it's not really worth arguing about that. I appreciate La Liga but EPL is a stronger league rn and there aren't many other ways to cut it...
The Premiership is more valuable worldwide than any other football league, it maybe different styles but it's the most popular for a reason. Money is the only metric that matters now. Spanish clubs finances are the joke in world football, ask Danny Olmo.
Nobody cares about the UCL before the EPL (apart from accountants and owners) in the Prem. Nobody. If a team won the EPL and didn't even qualify for Europe - that would be an outstanding season. European teams attach far more significance to the UCL than we will ever do. It's just not important before winning the Prem.
@LaurenceMcKennaonLFC well if you know anything about statistical accuracy you know using half a season is not a good sample to judge what's the best league. You can't use 5 because unlike prem la liga have won 5 UCL in a row within this last decade something the best version of prem which was in late 70's early 80's did. So a decade is the best sample. You can't assume your league is the best because you beat each other in your league. It's what happens when you leave your borders and la liga have completely decimated the prem. Imagine me saying serie a is better than prem despite prem having more UCL and Europa in the last decade. It's just facts whether you like it or not
So you make a post about people being nasty and then proceed to say it’s okay English is not their first language. That’s harsh , I started listening to your channel to obtain a view of what’s happening at Liverpool, to get views from actual fans in contrast to the news etc, you were recommended by my friends. This would absolutely taint his legacy at the club, and I’m fine with feeling bitter about it, we have every reason to.
You've absolutely hit the nail on the head 👏
In terms of having a realistic view of Real Madrid, I have the following to say:
(As you mentioned, it happens in all competitive sports.)
Are there obnoxious ones?
You won't get a response because this proves his waffling wrong
The "they not like us" comment is hilarious considering Real Marketing FC is clearly the Drake of the situation 😂
That is a lot of time and money invested in his development and the club should receive something for that effort, if he does actually leave at the end of the season.
i’m an admirer of real madrid. but man oh man majority of the fanbase act so entitled and spoiled it’s crazy. like no wonder people dont like real madrid 😂
do u think we care?
They're all glory hunters
how do you know the majority?
@Imoooor 🤣🤣🤣🤣 have you listened to literally any madrid fans. Never met such a bunch of entitled pricks. Like never had a good talk with one that didnt end in insults or shit talking. And i know americans. I just dont think the idiots are used to being so trash lately 😆😆 theyre all still hurting over the drubbing we gave them let them cry for a bit
@@Robert-ks5ix just like you
The dangerous thing for me is that I just cant understand why he would be want to leave… I get the money and lifestyle arguments but its not like he won’t get a big bag at Liverpool either. Aswell as looking at it from a Club perspective, Liverpools future looks so bright dominating both the prem and the Champions League. Not to mention its his boyhood club and he would be a future captain and legend for the Club if he stays.
He’s had his head turned mate, nothing else. It’s completely human but pretty sad really.
@magnusthomassen5743 You don’t understand the desire for players to put on the infamous white shirt of Madrid? I think Liverpool fans acting dumb is the problem here
Okay. Devil's advocate, as to why he might want Madrid:
Big signing fee & wages.
I’m very glad you articulately put the Spanish fans in their place. Hopefully they’ll learn from this.
2 finals losses is your place
Learn from what???
They literally beat you all the freaking time!! go look at your overall record against them.
Liverpool in just the last 5 years have lost 3 times to Madrid in knock out Ties and then they beat you National Team in the European Final
What Madness is this comparing yourselves to Them????
Wow
@ humbleness.
@@Festus034 Madrid just barely beat P19 Valencia. It's not easy, you just don't watch it and don't know what you're talking about.
@ maybe read what I said and that still doesn’t matter Valencia in the prem is in a relegation battle that’s just facts
Morning Loz!
“You can eat it” made me lol
this is why i like NA fandom better. it is more relaxed and good natured and we can take chirps on the chin. we also understand; the Leafs always lose :(
Liverpool is an intense club, that's what makes it unique
Hello Loz, huge fan from India. Keep up the good work lad 👍
Boom!
Wish i delved into your comments before now lol Rock on Loz

hes staying, he wont leave, lets focus on the league and wait for him to speak
I’m disappointed but not necessarily upset. IMO, this is no different than any other young adult that leaves their family and friends behind in their hometown to go pursue a new opportunity or passion.
Remember a journalist saying something about "brain fog" to Jürgen and him misunderstanding saying "brain fuck?"
At this point my brain is foggy and fucked with the triple contract saga.
Bobby Firmino leaving broke my football heart, weirdly Trent going to Madrid won't although I'll be disappointed.
Great channel brother, keep on keepin on ✊️
🔥 YNWA 🔥
At Liverpool we let him away with it, the real fans wouldnt
guess you dont want to win the league then?
Also, as much as I am indifferent on his decision, I would love to hear our fans at Anfield singing his song for 90 minutes straight at the next game.
Trent leaving is ongoing consequence of losing two final to RM. If we don’t want to lose our players to Spain we need to more CL more often
Back to life
Back to reality
Football is a SPECTATOR sport.
Have a great 2025 Young Master McKenna

I don't feel like we're going to know anything concrete until towards the end of the season. Would rather be enjoying the football for now, but all this media hype about contracts is hard to get away from.
Saying Anyone in the top 4 in England would run La Liga when In the last 23 years, Spanish sides - clubs and the national team - have appeared in 22 major finals against teams from other countries. They have won all of them.
Infact the overall record of English clubs v Spanish is downright embarrassing.
Ita Astonishing the Arrogance that the English Possess.....quite remarkable
The amount of emotional blackmail I’ve seen coming from quite literally every single Liverpool support is astonishing.
What?
@@Festus034take another look at his name. It would make sense.
You don’t know a single Liverpool supporter.
Even if we got big money for him. They wouldn't reinvest it. They never do
Oh such rubbish. Look at the club accounts. FSG have never taken a penny out of the club. Unlike the Glazers.
@TR4zest they don't put it back in either
How many windows have we gone without spending?
Were you all like this when Barca forcefully signed Suarez and Coutinho as well?
They weren’t local lads and I wasn’t happy with Suarez but wanted the money for Coutinho when I heard the fee tbh…
Illegal state funding of Real Madrid is financial doping. Simple as that. Sevilla? Not European elite.
'when you say the english, you mean manchester united' hahahahaha
I’m so glad our fans are not like Real Madrid fans YNWA❤
I think of players like Anthony Gordon would love to play for his boyhood club
I hate Liverpool but I have a whole other level of hatred for Madrid… they’re what’s wrong with football and evil asf
Please, use RUclips's "dark mode", my eyes are bleeding.
Watched for 1hr. RIP my eyes.
Liked the video tho.
Sorry about that…
I get Liverpool fans resentment towards RM. Cheers 🍻

I love that Liverpool fans despise us, idk why it brothers Madrid fans so much. cheers for the video
It's just facts whether you like it or not
@@TheXJRMAN that makes it even worse. You make wayy more than a league yet they beat you. It shows how bad the league is
So you make a post about people being nasty and then proceed to say it’s okay English is not their first language. That’s harsh , I started listening to your channel to obtain a view of what’s happening at Liverpool, to get views from actual fans in contrast to the news etc, you were recommended by my friends. Respectfully I find your tone and way you speak down to non English team disrespectful.
Alluding to Madrid fans being elitist while speaking like an elitist😭 also it’s clear you’re either misinformed or purposefully being ignorant over the Franco regime.🤡 show reaction over a player possibly leaving on a free after YOUR club let it run down. Victim mentality elitist mindset😂
You seem emotional mate
