I missed the FX foundation when it was on sale recently. Imma tell you though I have more mature dryer skin and some of your foundations are some of my favorites. You know it’s a good formula.
I tell you what...you did all of these foundations justice...you did the brands a favor really. Whatever magic lighting you used works!!!!! I'm blown away by the quality. A lot of folks use that diffusing/blurring nonsense to make everything look airbrushed and that's deceptive to me. In other words, thank you Tina for keeping it 100. I could REALLY see how the foundations look on skin. Dior Backstage is back to being my next contender for complexion purchase then Shiseido thanks to your real swatch.
This is right on time. I just tossed out some old foundations. I tried the Naked a few years back before the shade range improvement. I think there were only 12 shades back then. I will have to investigate and find my match. Great video!
I've loved every Dior foundation I've tried they make fabulous foundations! The only one I have in my collection right now is the Backstage one and I have loved it! I have tried their Diorstar Skin Forever foundation as well and used up the full bottle that was one of my favorites! I also went through two full bottles of the Airspray one ugh amazing! I also loved the original YSL Touche Eclait and used up the whole thing but never repurchased the new one. And the Colourpop No Filter is so underrated everyone didn't like it after Tati didn't like it but I've always thought that it's a great foundation!

I like how it makes my skin look makes my skin color look warmer in the winter. and is sheer enough to look natural in the summer. I really hope Cover Fx isn't going out of business 😕. It's one of my favorite cosmetic companies. I did get a backup of their concealer from Sephora. But I will have to get one for the Power Play foundation too. Last summer that's all I wore was Cover Fx. I always enjoy your foundation videos. 😊

Love watching your videos for a shade match! It’s so funny how you mentioned going up a shade for it to look better. All these years I thought I was crazy. If I go down a shade that’s close to my color, it looks so bad and I couldn’t figure out if the lighter shades were made with a different formula or what?! 😂. So I opt to go for a darker shade with full coverage. I’d rather a shade darker for a better finish than to look crazy with a lighter one.
I have not tried the Urban Decay. I've had my eye on the Shiseido though. I'm always afraid to try new shades with my dry skin. Everything is SO matte, matte, matte. But these looked great!!! 🥰😍💖💕

That touch éclat is my favorite its so damn beautiful its my go to for special occasions i wear the last shade they have in it and i always buy it when YSL has a sale on their website or a sephora sale.
I think you are a shade deeper than me (or a different undertone) cause the Dior 4.5W is a bit red on me but works in the summer (if I don’t over do it). I picked up EX1 on your recommendation and love it! I have shade 11, and though it’s a bit light, it disappears into my skin since I’m olive. I’ll pick up the 14 for summer. I also want to get the stay naked skin 🙈

Ones I’d consider that you didn’t mention are Does of Colors Meet Your Hue, Estée Lauder Double Wear, NYX Can’t Stop Wont Stop, Beauty Bakerie Aqua Glass, Covergirl TrueBlend Matte Made, & the Smashbox Studio Skin Full Coverage! But I prefer more fuller coverage and more true matte foundations than you seem to! 😍 You make me want to try Dior Face & Body! I’ve never tried any of their makeup!

I was in store a couple of months ago and noticed that the Cover FX Display was gone and when I asked about it, they said that the brand was moving to online only sales. So I'm thinking that was just the first step before completely taking them out. I'm wondering if Ulta got exclusivity or something?

What is the general name of the tool you used to apply the foundation to one side of your face? I figure it’s a good way for me to use less foundation on my face.
From everything that I have read, they will still be carried at Ulta but no longer at Sephora. Also, Sephora is supposed to be bringing Kylie cosmetics to the store (interesting swap). Although CoverFx may not the fanciest brand, they do have some solid products. I like that they have talc-free for those who prefer that.

The Dior Backstage line does a really good job with packaging, and reflects that "backstage"/pro idea with small, plastic bottles and palettes.

No strong fragrance for me but it does have a scent to it. It’s undetectable unless you deliberately try to smell it.
