I like the Ford stuff anything those Jeeps are good for is that front axle that's my favorite body style Ford Explorer too bad it wasn't a two-door manual also interested in the F-150 build think you said you're turning it into a lowrider
Hi from Facebook! you wanna know if it’s really 29k or 129k pull of the tranny pan that will tell you right there. I’ve done a lot of work to many explorers and their mileage is easily guessable from what’s inside the trans pan. The A4LD trannys are notorious for problems. Mine is actually cooked waiting to put a new one in. 93-94 models they made internal changes to some explorers so some are better than others. Every got any questions on it shoot me a message!
I have a 97 Ford Ranger two-wheel drive 2.3L 5 speed currently Street rotting it out needs a 351 would like to keep the manual and lower it a lot more muscle truck stance
Thanks a bunch buddy, we're pretty excited, and I hope it does. You take care as well! I've been keeping up with your videos, I'll go drop a few comments for you, I haven't had a whole lot of time to watch RUclips lately 😅
My 1992 ford explorer had the same problem with the trunk cause it would always caused a airleak to fix that you could put tennis balls in the trunk jam to help push out the trunk that way while your driving it won't shake and rattle.

The F-150 is getting a 4" lift with long arms in the front, and I've considered a solid axle swap in the front

@@mavsfabshop No worries! :) I know you're busy my friend
Just bought one myself.nice trucks.diff gears make it a dog but that can be fixed.
Mine has 3.73 gears in it, which I'm happy about. It could just use a good tune up
@@mavsfabshop best ones to have mine have 3.27 pretty awful even before I upgraded the 28inch stock tires to 30inch lol I'll be doing a 4.10 swap.
@@Matteo-xm6xo I agree, I don't plan on doing gears in mine because it won't be wheeled though
@@mavsfabshop yeah if I had 3.73 I'd leave it alone 👍
@@Matteo-xm6xo yepp. I'll probably put some 31s on it and call it good

It just needs a set of striker bushings. They get brittle over time and fall off.
THE FACT IS THERE IS A FORD COMANY IN GERMANY COLOGNE AND THIS MOTOR WAS MADE THERE HANS THE COLONEMOTOR
