He eventually dropped because Valve nerfed the movement speed of the AWP making his aggressive style impossible. The current KennyS is nothing more than a shadow of the god he used to be.

I believe a huge factor that comes into being a good AWPer is your team, if my team is able to support me by throwing flashes, nades and giving information, then I can easily pick up insane kills.
Same thing applies with Kenny, when he is with his team, like NV, he is godsent.
