I live near an old bat like that. She constantly thinks she's the victim. She went so far as to break/dig up the underground power to a street light that was in front of her house and have it removed without the districts approval because she 'got migraines' (just close the curtains). She even got a doctors note saying that we needed to take the light down (as if a doctor had that authority). She gets away with doing stuff like that because nobody wants the confrontation. The street has three houses on it, hers is the one in the middle and she thinks she owns the whole road. Joke's on her though - I'm on the district and we put TWO lights back up.
I think things are a bit ass backwards in the UK, you get in trouble and arrested for a note and words but damaging someones property is completely brushed off. Insane
I love animals, but Meg is literally insane. She disrupted the badgers natural habitat by feeding them and bringing them into a community. If you love animals, leave them alone. Don't cage them, don't feed them, don't take them from their natural routine/habitat. That's more harmful to the badgers than leaving them to find their own food.
isnt she the least of two evils... the farmers wanted to shoot em for something that is not true.. and atleast as long as they are in her garden they will not get shot..and they will be fed.
Badgers can be very dangerous too! In the US, they are not nice critters, my brother has scars down his arm, the badger made it's way into our playhouse (yeah, we left a food mess. We were like 8 or something) we went into play the next day and boom, badger attack. By the time I ran and grabbed a rake nearby (which I was useless in using btw, maybe I scared it away by waving it?) his arm had already been shredded and bleeding. So yeah, don't feed the goddamn badgers to bring them INTO any kind of community, especially with children! You want a pet badger? Then keep it restrained in your house, restrained in a cage in your yard. But that's fucked up to do too, to a badger. Don't encourage them with food, they need to be out in their own territory to thrive. Badgers are just fine by themselves until some whacko decides they should live side by side with humans in harmony forever. Just. Leave. The. Badgers. The. Fuck. Alone!
There are plenty of laws controlling where and how you build in the U.K., but their enforcement depends on reports from the affected people. If no one complains, nothing happens. When my daughter wanted to refurbish her house the architectural plans had to be approved by the city council and all the neighbours within a certain distance were notified, and her plans were nothing like as intrusive as the extension in the video. She was smart and went to each neighbour to explain what she wanted to have done. As a result no one objected and everyone was happy. Just common courtesy, really.
I don't know about the UK, but in the US there are zoning regulations to protect adjoining property owners, and also building inspectors to ensure the building is correctly built to code. Seems like that was missing here.
The US varies widely regarding zoning and building laws, and a lot of people do in fact, get away with a lot of unpermitted building and such; unless and until someone points it out to the city zoning/code inspector
@@christianbrother4724 I also live in Austin. I wish they’d enforce that rule on the masses of homeless people pitching tents and completely trashing the city with their filth and garbage.
Wow, so you can build without a permit, do so in a dangerous way, destroy your neighbor's house in the process, destroy a piece of property that you've no claim on but you can't post a notice or "look up at someone's window". Amazing.
Right, the respective "Bauaufsichtsbehörden" (building inspectorate agencies) take care of the fact that every neighbour has adequate space/ quality of life and that buildings match aesthetically. They would have blocked this "palace" right away.
We get threats and fines for not painting over fresh graffiti. Cops are more than willing to show up at my front door to deliver said fines and threats, but if you ask them what they're doing to track down the vandals their response is always "What can we do?".
@@taylorlibby7642 whoa- almost sounds like the city knows who is doing it, but why bother stopping it when it garners them a regular source of punitive fines?
In many areas in the US, there are laws stating you can’t build anything 4 feet from your property line. So when each house abides by that you have 8 foot space for each neighbors.
The badger woman who doxxed her neighbor and harassed her neighbors being surprised her neighbors dont want to associate her shows a complete lack of awareness. She deserves all the repercussions and is no way a victim

The lady with the badgers is the nightmare neighbor. She shouldnt move into a community and expect everyone to bend to her demands. Meanwhile for being a animal lover you would think she would know not to feed the animals and make them dependent on people instead of survival skills. Meanwhile she decided to push the people even more when she already started the problems.
There should be some sort of law that stops people from doing large, improper construction projects so close to other people's homes. That would horrify me to have my neighbor's shoddy home being built so close to my own home!
Did the neighbor get permits to build? Was the new building inspected during the build? He watched Do-It-Yourself videos and built it himself. INCREDIBLE!
What happened with Mr Ahmed's house would never happen in America. You have to have building permits with plans. A building inspector visits the property. Contractors doing the work have to be registered with the state/county/city. If any of this is not done a stop work notice is put on the house. The cost for all this is in the thousands, this is even before work begins.

So many of these problems arise because there are too many people crammed together in too tight a space. England is a small country but the way that houses are built, you feel like a sardine in a can fighting for room with the other sardines.
The justice system in England seems really wonky. The lady with the driveway had clearance to do what she did. There was plenty of proof her vicious neighbor tearing up her driveway.
She had the right to use the unclaimed land, not to block others from using it by putting up a locked gate. I believe if she had paved it all nice like she did, but put the gate at her land (like she did in the end) noone would have done anything.
She specifically did NOT have clearance to do what she did. She applied and it was denied. You cannot just fence off public, shared land. It's not just illegal but completely insane. Land is worth a lot of money, you can't just take it.
I'm not sure how you think the justice system should act, but it's certainly not a free for all, take what you want kind of deal. You have to go through proper procedures. I would say that's the opposite of wonky. It would certainly be the case here in Australia. Wouldn't get away with that at all.
Well, just they do in their home countries. Have you seen footage from after earthquakes? Where in Japan nothing happens, whole cities come down in countries where everyone is doing what they want.

@@Ms_Tania Spare me. You know nothing about me. This woman, Meg, has shown to be completely vacuous and narcissistic, and you, my dear, are embracing these ideals as well. Now, animal rights activists are forcing unwanted views, opinions on a public that is more informed than they are, and have started using militant tactics, terrorising communities featured in this video. I find that reprehensible, as well as those who support these terroristic tactics.
I'm surprised that Deborah never talked to her neighbors about putting in the garden/drive area, she didn't own the land so why she thought it would be ok to just "claim" it without discussing it with her neighbors is beyond me.
To be fair she may have at some point. Mr garignati had only lived there a few months before he tried to claim it. It was well known in the neighbourhood she used it, and using it for that long for that purpose with no one saying anything about it should make it so she can spruce it up a bit. She's doing no harm to anyone, and she deserves to have a little drive if she's figured out how to get one. He doesn't need the area for anything he just doesn't want her to have it as far as I can see.
@@chezraye21 actually in the USA you can claim land if you have been using it unopposed for 15 (or so) years and no one else has also been using it. She should have been able to get the land as it seems to be spite on the part of her neighbors.

Wow I feel so bad for the woman who lost her mother. The patch of road she wants to clame leads directly to her garden her neabor doesn't need it due to having a driveway and garage, it would be out of his way to park there. In my opion he just wanted the drive way just to have it, if I lived in a neighborhood for years and built my own driveway to get it approved by the city(as they had told her to do) and a new neighbor who just moved in tore it down, all that hard work and money just because they felt they deserved the spot, I would be more then upset, I would be PISSED. Who is this man to come into the nearborhood that he has barly lived in and demand I take down all the hard work I had done. The work was done before he even showed up. The fact the he doesn't need the space as he already has enough space to park in his own lot just screams asshole to me. Yes I understand that his side was not shown and there are two sides to every story but the fact that he refused to comment or even explane his side seems fishy to me. The spot had not been claimed for years and the woman was using it for a long time before she decided to try and claim it, no one had a problem with her using it and building the driveway before the new neighbor moved in. There has to be some form of legal action she could take.
That driveway woman is insane. She built on land that didn't belong to her, called her neighbor racist names, and told the police she wanted to throw a brick at his car and now she's making herself out to be the victim?!?! She's nuts.
She's been using it for 20 plus years. The other guy just moves in and without owning the land either, rips up 4k worth of her property and parks his BMW on it. Sorry, but he's the monster.
@@annabanana730 They are both wrong. She had no right to restrict access to land that didn't belong to her. Neighbor was justified in removing the gate. But destroying the paving was pointless.
Who the hell would approve that building contract. Let alone let people that were obviously not builders work on it. You can't even erect a fence on your own property here in the US without getting approval from the city, and giving information on what builders or business you intend to use.
It's the same here in Belgium. My dad had to tear down his 10 square feet firewood shed. It was something he built himself, and it looked really nice. But because of 'reasons' he was ordered to demolish the cute little building, and instead keep his logs under a hideous tarp...
I had to get a permit from the city just to install some ceiling lights in my kitchen and garage. And then a city inspector came around to check that it was done to code.
Yep, it's truly incredible what you need permits / approval for. You think the towns/cities are bad, wait until you get wind of someone who lives with an HOA. Those people are nuts. They can dictate (not all do but there's enough to go around that absolutely will) what COLOR FLOWERS you are allowed to plant out front as it has to match the 'atmosphere of the entire neighborhood'. Some say you have to buy an expensive hose-housing thing, so you can't just go to home depot or lowes and get any old thing, it has to be a specific brand, model, color etc. HOA's aren't a totally bad thing for developments but many go way overboard. Including taking 7-10 months to approve an application to build a fence or a small deck out back. For the majority of smaller towns who require permits for stuff like sheds under 200sqft, it's their way of making extra money off taxpayers.
Neighbour 1: "Excuse me? Would you be so kind as to refrain from (insert feud topic)? Neighbour 2:"My dear fellow, I do believe I am correct in this case." Man, it's enjoyable to see how flawed the legislative system is in England. I Norway, for example, it's illegal to change your property buildings unless you've made a request from your county office. You're only allowed to create permanent structures that is 3 meters from the neighbor's property, any closer and you need to make a request.
I'm really curious to know why this Garegnani guy had such a problem with this woman's drive? He doesn't seem to have had any claim to the land or use for it.
Mus Sum concerns? The gate would attack a child passing by? She was asking the people she needed, neighbors can agree and a stupid person comes in house next to her and what then? O yeah the asshole digs up her driveway that he cannot use anyway..... he is just obnoxious, obsessed, crazy, crap person
she attached a gate to two houses that weren't her's without even asking the owners of the houses. I'd be mad as hell too. Letting her use the ground for a driveway is one thing as she doesn't leave her car on it, but used it as access to her carport in her own yard. But Blocking off everyone from using it was a bit rich. What if the house owners wanted to access the sides of their houses? They'd have to ask her permission to unlock the gates. DID YOU SEE ALL THE LOCKS? I can understand why they were mad. She's trying to play victim for the tv audience but I bet she was really really abusive to them. People don't call the police over nothing, and even the police said she was being violent and aggressive. THEY GAVE HER A RESTRAINING ORDER. Do you realise how horrible a woman has to be to get a RO issued? They hardly ever go through cause 'poor women'. For the court to recognize her as a threat to the neighbors they had to have some evidence of such, or the case would have been thrown out.
She may have talked to the other people, we don't know every detail. What I can say from over on this side is that she did make the area look very nice. I wouldn't be heated if my neighbour helped make our community look better. Even if it was for her own good.
Ashley Jones it's never a good idea to pick up a baby animal if you find it. Most mothers leave their baby's in a certain spot, and they just wait for her to return. Some people though think it's an orphan and will pick it up
My mom made that mistake once. She & her co-workers found a small young bird that looked like it couldn't fly. So she brought the chick home to me. I placed it in the quiet bathroom and then did research on the bird. I did give it wet dog food and water. Which the juvenile did eat. But in my research I found that what was picked up was a moarning dove. And was actually illegal to keep. But I also found out that the juveniles fly off from the nest and get stuck on the ground but the parents still care for the fledging until fully independent. Plus I did see that it could partially fly to get away from cats. I saw no reason to call a rehabber for the bird because we were able to return it to it's parents within hours. We did give the bird a box and lots of seed and stuff in it too.
Nah I feed birds all the time, the insect population is too low due to modern farming, they need help. As do bees by planting flowers for them. But things like boars reproduce too much until they starve, so hunting some of them is also kind of necessary
Meg is the nightmare, Deborah’s took some that wasn’t hers, Ahmed should have just moved to a bigger home instead of compromising everyone else’s safety.

Just. Leave. The. Badgers. The. Fuck. Alone!
the brick work on this house is hilarious lmao, i swear they didnt use tools either hehe
Unless information is being withheld, the UK's law system seems schizophrenic.
I am shocked, I live in Austin and you cannot even pitch a tent without a permit.
@@christianbrother4724 Oh wow!!

Wow, so you can build without a permit, do so in a dangerous way, destroy your neighbor's house in the process, destroy a piece of property that you've no claim on but you can't post a notice or "look up at someone's window". Amazing.
In Germany you wouldn't be able to build yourself a "palace" just like that.
Right, the respective "Bauaufsichtsbehörden" (building inspectorate agencies) take care of the fact that every neighbour has adequate space/ quality of life and that buildings match aesthetically. They would have blocked this "palace" right away.

The justice system in England seems really wonky. The lady with the driveway had clearance to do what she did. There was plenty of proof her vicious neighbor tearing up her driveway.
@Keith i do agree but the property went to her garden, her property and she had been the sole user for several years without complaint or protest.

Tia D. Meanwhile a lady puts up gate for her driveway and few rocks and she is being banned from looking at a window visible from her own window....
I live in the sticks, I don’t have to ask anyone if I want to erect a fence or put up lights. I only need approval if I want a big project.

You're only allowed to create permanent structures that is 3 meters from the neighbor's property, any closer and you need to make a request.

she attached a gate to two houses that weren't her's without even asking the owners of the houses.
Do you realise how horrible a woman has to be to get a RO issued? They hardly ever go through cause 'poor women'. Honestly, any wildlife lover would know it is not a good idea to feed wildlife . . . just saying.

The sight would have been shut down with an unlimited fine.
Having no brick ties is classed as a hazard as the entire wall can collapse.
deborahs son is a good boy ''looks after his mum''
Why am i so addicted to british tv? 😳 thanks for the uploads 🙌👍
Omg lady, I can't stop lol
I love watching these! 🤗
They're voices are soothing and it makes you feel smart.
sa God bless.
Me too! I love Australian shows too!
Mr. Arhmed seems like a sociopath. No consideration or compassion to his neighbors. Only pure greed.
what do you expect from an arab
Achromacy Syndicate you're worse than Mr. Armed. Take your disgusting, racist attitude to the trash where it beings.
@@baronk2077 It wasn't Mr. Ahmed's fault at all. It was government's fault. If he had permission for this work then all this video is bullshit and it's right to do whatever he want on his own property.
the Mr Arhmed guys looks like your typical hipster douchebag that thinks he knows everything and is owed everything by everybody.
Mo Ya Mr. Armed was still an asshole but he wasn't an asshole because of his race like the racist jerk above was saying.
The poor son of the woman stealing the land is sad, he's fully convinced that she is right.
She too the driveway for herself. Not cool! I can see why the neighbors were pissed
Oculus 111 I cannot see what the problem is, she was parking on that land for years with no problem. I believe they were jealous.
@@blueeyes1491 I see both sides to this, but ideally she SHOULD have talked to her neighbours first instead of just "claiming" it. I can see why she would expect it to be okay, but thing is that her neighbours expected they could use the driveway as well, and that it was a shared property, so I can also see why they felt she imposed herself on their shared property. If they had all communicated ideally about it, problems could likely have been solved without turning into a nightmare. To me they all seem to be in the wrong in their case. No one in this case inherently evil, just not communicating healthily. The road to hell is painted with good intentions.
Holy crap, that first house would have made me feel so claustrophobic! I would have had inspectors there as soon as I saw that wall. The bricks aren't even aligned properly and you can see he wants to do it cheaply rather than spend money on quality work. I totally disagree with the courts, I don't think someone should have the right to make you feel as if you are living in Alaska! I haven't watched it all but I do hope it eventually gets safely taken down. Tell him to buy a lot in the country and safely build his dream home there!
Triumph 1983 true!! Had no respect for neighbors at all. I could’ve never done anything so close to your neighbors even if it was my land. It’s unsafe and not level. So the inspectors should have done their jobs and spoke up. Made it get fixed and simply not right. If I had any neighbors like this I would move myself. Not worth all this fuss to be fighting with neighbors like this. Crazy!!
Triumph 1983 l know it would be horrific if that building fell on there’s..so glad l live in Melbourne plus l have Neighbours that keep to themselves..
But that house have windows in front and in the back, this is just the side of the house. People in detached properties do not have windows on the side of their houses either and yet they somehow still exist
@@bambinaforever1402 yet they didn't buy a house with no windows on the sides. They bought a house with windows and expected them to function as windows... let in light. The neighbors totally changed their living situation. Not to mention lowered the property value. Who would want to buy a house with windows looking straight at a crappy cinder block wall?
3rd world immigrants and their slum mentality
How is it that councils ok these dubious building plans?
Justin Beiber's long lost twin brother🙎♂️
Something is so entertaining about watching neighbours fight lol. It’s something we can all relate to. Also I am not surprised it happens so much in the UK with houses connected like that. A rich footballer across my street has been adding an extension onto their house and digging up the street it’s been so annoying. So glad we are moving this week.
Thumbnail photo for this video looks like a young, cracked out Justin Bieber.

Lennard Vink troll and Jerry McGhee is his little toady calling him up, lol

Look at your own thumbnail!
Her son looks like a clean cut version of Justin Bieber with maybe a bit of an overbite. Justin Bieber is the one who looks like he is cracked up, not this kid.
I'm amazed Meg wasn't sued by the man she 'outed'.
that lady protesting the hunts should be called "The Resident From Hell"
Doesn't England have building codes? Permits? How do you build a house without a licensed contractor, architect, plans that have been approved? WTF?
It's terrible houses are so close in England. I would want to cry with the light being cut out by a horrible neighbour
and building racket too.
I see why the old lady wanted to live on that nice village. Is simply beautiful and peaceful. But please, when in Rome...
Jane lane No. Pay attention to why they’re dedicated to not spreading disease via badgers to the cattle. Rather than coming into an established environment with certain practices and shaming people, which doesn’t help anything or anyone and only alienates the people living closest to you. I wouldn’t move into cattle ranch country here in the US and go on a rampage about killing wolves that kill their livestock. If she really wants to be effective for animals there are other ways.
Lex60 for real! Did she ever consider that maybe it was that beautiful BECAUSE of the practices the village people have been undertaking for generations? Ugh.
@@charlii5917 The badgers were there first. No one should be thinking its ok to f#ck with nature and wild animals who are only going about their business as they have done for hundreds of years harming nothing. Along comes man into their territory and kills them. Badgers, foxes, pheasants, otters have a right to live in nature as intended. Humans have to find a way to live with them, not against them.
@@patsyhodge9071 As Sabia S and Lex60 said above, the village has been doing a good job for HUNDREDS of years, which is why that twit moved there. Then she wants to change it just because she emotionally (mental illness) doesn't want ANYONE to kill ANY animal. Use logic to know that there would be over population, over grazing, disease, and starvation.
@@patsyhodge9071 Actually humans were there first. After the last ice age, it didn't take long before the first humans arrived in Britain. At that time Britain was still tundra and ice, too cold for forests where Badgers live.
Thank GOD here in the United States we DO have rules about blocking views and light. I'm in Washington State, and we have storm water/drainage laws too. No property and drain onto another. Fire codes do not allow us to build more than five feet from the property line so house fires do not spread.
Do people really like their houses being 3 inches apart?
