Most underrated band of all time
That's a big statement, but I'm inclined to agree.
This is my favourite band and probably one of the most listened bands in my hometown, Gornji Milanovac, Serbia.
you should definitely check Frank Zappa, John Zorn, King Crimson, Nice Nice...

I saw morphine in Lisbon / Portugal (1995). The world's best musical show. They were great, nice band, very nice.
I saw Morphine in Toronto, Canada back in the Cure for Pain tour. Mark threw baseball caps at the concert with Morphine embroider into them. Still got mine.

Love these guys. If you got to see them live you know they were like a force of nature and there was a whole different vibe to the music. Rougher, edgier and punk even? All in a good way. I love the smoothness of the album's but their live shows were something else altogether

The biggest hidden gem in morphine's line up, vocals are incredibly strong in this song...
Something like that happened to me, too - they played in Detroit when I was just a wee lad of 15 and couldn't drive. My older friends had never heard of Morphine, didn't wanna go and so I missed it.
Turns out that was the night "Bootleg Detroit" was recorded.
Bummer. But it did make me start getting out to concerts more too.

@zorro75 The exact same thing happened to me in Cincinnati in '98. One of the only real regrets I have in life-- my friend, who introduced me to Morphine, had come to visit and they were performing. I hadn't really listened to or gotten into them yet, I was in college, too...was stressed with exams, and BS, and wouldn't go. My gosh, if I could go back now... I feel ya
@zorro75 yo me lamento exactamente por lo mismo que te pasó a vos,viejo...yo,si bien era bastante cachorro en aquél entonces,ya los conocía y me gustaban y no podía ir...así fué como me perdí Morphine y también Nirvana...(si,si...ya sé: son dos cosas total y absolutamente distintas...pero me sigo lamentando por lo mismo)

@zorro75 Reconozco que,si bien los conozco y suenan muy bien,no soy un adalid del indie...más allá de Pavement,Weezer(ahora no tanto),Eels y algunas tantas más,no soy muy fan que digamos...en esta ocasión sacrifico Pixies por Rage Against The Machine sin dudarlo...(si,si...ya sé:nada que ver uno con el otro,pero a RATM los estoy esperando desde hace más de una década)...y cuando vuelva Pearl Jam,pago de nuevo las dos fechas como hice la primera vez,ni la pienso,jeje...
