😮 I’ve been diagnosed as being dyslexic and dyspraxic and I’m 71 years old. My main problem is that very often my coordination /sensory processing is so poor that I cannot do the task that I need to do at the time I need to.
I will have to conceptualise doing the task and then work out an alternative method of doing it which will of course delay the start and completion of it.
For example I really wanted to make a comment here and I tried doing it straight into the box. That didn’t work for me so I opened Notes on my phone and dictated what I wanted to say using the voice operated software provided. Now I will copy and paste my text in the comments box. I think a lot of what is attributed to ADHD is in fact some kind of sensory processing disorder or non-standard coordination, e.g. a weakness on one side of the body.

It's great that you have found alternative methods to complete tasks that may be challenging for you. Coping strategies like these can be very useful for managing the symptoms of dyslexia and dyspraxia. It's important to remember that everyone's experiences with these conditions are unique and it's okay to do things in a way that works best for you. Your persistence and determination to overcome challenges are truly inspiring.

Pointless invention: Giant keyboard, where each key is a been bag large enough for you to sleep on. for some reason, it's pink in my head, although I don't like pink.
