Aw man, too bad you didn't get to capture this round a bit earlier on.
I was in squad 1, when we were sent straight East into the mountains and immediately got wiped for running straight into US forces. You're right, this map is incredibly dark for us players, and I didn't even see any contact when they were already cutting us down. Would've loved to see your POV on that engagement to see exactly what went wrong for us haha.

"two casualties dead" - Diplex 2K17
I'm not sure of the context in the video but in terms of military speed he technically made no mistake. In the army a casualty refers not only to dead but to those seriously wounded enough that they have to removed from the front line. So him saying two casualties dead would make perfect sense as it distinguishes between dead and just wounded.

Hey Diplex --- quick story..... I used to live in a major city, where I had ultra fast broadband and great FPS ability --- but now (For unnamed reasons) I live way out in the country (for several years) with a satellite modem that could NEVER have proper bandwidth for playing FPS... So I've never played SQUAD, and I miss the tactical FPS world a great deal. My point is --- I love your vids, it's a great comfort to be able to watch the action of this awesome game ... especially since I can't play them myself. Preciate you taking the time to make them!

Absolute warmest... Right up the INS insurgent's field of fire!!! Nice plan!!! XDDD
The Insurgents aren't that good at defending. They don't create chokepoints or killzones. They just go prone in a building. When they kill one guy the whole US-squad knows were they are, surround the building and clear them out. They should atleast look out of the little holes and windows. And keep an eye out for their mines.
they are normally much better than this. A disappointing performance for sure.
The original plan was to lay in hiding until the IEDs detonate and use the confusion to hit the US infantry. Unfortunately many of our players on the INS side spaced themselves poorly or put themselves in easily spotted locations.
While parts of the plan didn't go quite as well as they should have we still won in the end and I got to defend the last landmine for the victory.
hmm kinda like real life US steamrolling ISIS troops lmao
If someone has to shout hot/cold to at least try to end the game, something went very wrong as far as game design. Wouldn't exactly count the battle as a win, though a round won through a technicality is a round won, so whatever helps you sleep at night.
I like to imagine that many of the insurgents had been asleep around the village and woke up in the middle of the night to try to hastily hole themselves up and mount a scattered defense against the US.
These feel better than most military movies when he was like DETONATE DETONATE DETONATE I was like OH SHIT ITS ABOUT TO GO DOWN

US failed to protect the Stryker and failed to successfully clear the route of land mines. While they certainly killed /almost/ everyone they failed to complete either of their primarily objectives, thus giving the victory to the INS who completed theirs.

You should do a rebel surprise attack on a heavily guarded troop and rebel prisoner transport, with 3 at ats w/ two at sts guarding each. And about 250 storm troopers on the ground. The rebels surprise attack them in a narrow valley with about 2 waves of rebels with 300 rebels each wave

The laying down in these ops always pisses me off like I know nothing against it but it's so cheeky and a touch unfair especially at night
Going prone is apart of the game. How bright it is outside doesn't change that and your squad/team just have to adapt to it. It's not unfair if both sides can go prone as well.

Definitely a cool match. I think the game type combined with the night cycle was a bad move, as evidenced by the end being a game of hot/cold. That being needed kind of ruined it for me. I would recommend a minesweeper asset being added. But there were good plays on both sides that I really enjoyed, especially the IED ambush and the unnamed pistolier.

Hey diplexheated, you should do an albanian outpost, and the turks do a special ops to attack the medium defending outpost. You feel in the blanks to create the scenario more interesting
WASTELAND. Honestly how many times will people have to ask for something on season 2. Diplex, I don't care if you don't want to do season 2, but if you have made the decision to cancel it at least tell us. That was one of the best series you ever made if you don't count some of your Total War campaigns. Please tell us something.
