This was the first console game I ever played when my grandmother got me a PS2 for my birthday. This level was sooooo hard to beat that my dad saw how frustrated the level was making me and offered me to help me. I said no because I wanted to beat Mz. Ruby’s grin off her ugly face. After weeks (literally weeks) I finally beat it and I must say. This level got me so used to the buttons on the controller that I flew through the rest of the game. Thanks Mz. Ruby.
From 2:50 ,onward is the best part sly: voodoo Simon says, sounds easy enough...(me in the background after 7 game overs) "NO ITS NOT, SHUT UP SLY!!!" ^,X,O,［］
Mz Ruby is definitely my favorite boss. It also helps that her boss fight is a rhythm minigame. I hate how the PS3 version messed it up (there's always that one specific note that you'll always miss).
While this looks like a fun boss fight, the problem I have playing this on the PlayStation 3: sometimes the buttons were unresponsive. Sometimes I have to mash the buttons in order to register the input.
That,dick,bag/that, dick, bag. Vroom,vroom, vroom/vroom vroom vroom. Kick, back, kick/kick, back, kick. vuu, duu/vuu, duu. *whack "fucking finally!!!!!" I literally screamed when I beat that boss, luckily no one was home that day.

I remember being able to do this with my eyes closed as a kid. Then the PS3 version happened. The timing is so off in that version.

yeah but there's no fun on spamming the buttons, it's a RYTHM boss battle, Sanzaru did a pretty bad job remastering Sly Cooper 1
