I've had every version of the Z Fold phones. Currently have the Z Fold 4 and a S23Ultra as my two daily phones. I'm interested in the Pixel Fold for sure, but I've had both the Pixel 6 Pro and the Pixel 7pro, both had lots of glitches and some other well documented issues that required updates and fixes. I'm holding out til end of July or August before I pull the trigger on this new device. I like the size/style of the front screen and Pixel cameras are always top notch. Hope this is successful and forces Samsung to update and advance with more mainstream competition.
Ive been trying the pixel fold and I can tell you the main advantage over the zfold 4 is just the front screen and the camera. Everything else is better on the zfold 4 , from 3rd party apps to battery life. Im returning my pixel fold and waiting for the zfold 5 .

I dont really like google products they are way to limited and dont really offer you the best value and even pixel 7 pro vs s22 ultra and at the lowest the pixel 7 pro isn't cheaper than the s22 ultra if anything you can find the s22 ultra slightly cheaper like $650-$750 brand new you might as lucky as $600 and even that justifies the extra $300 cost ovet yhe pixel 7 pro.
Those bezels don't bother you, huh? Hmmm... I just don't think I could get past 'em. I really REALLY hope samsung makes a similar style phone to this pixel next year. I want a foldable so badly for my work as a medic so I can do my reports with the multitasking features. Samsung just blows pixel out of the water with the software, but that remote style... can't get past that either.

You can't. Google applies the Apple method : do not let people customize their phones like they want to.
I feel the same way so I installed Nova Launcher Pro and it works great.

Get a Chinese foldable. They are everything you want and need.
