Nice tutorial. Really like how 06 handles multiple playable characters. They build off of Sonic's moveset and only appear briefly in levels so they don't wear out welcome.
Knuckles's gliding physics work very similar to SA2, even the small amount of descent as he keeps gliding. Try gliding a long distance in a wide open SA2 hunting stage like Pumpkin Hill or Meteor Herd, watch carefully as Knuckles glides and you'll notice. If you watched SA2 speedruns, you probably saw that runners press the action button to start a drill dive and very quickly press jump again to kinda reset their fall speed to cover longer distances. A similar thing can be done in P-06 by releasing and quicky pressing the jump button, a much easier method compared to SA2 :D Great video by the way, keep up the good work!

I was kind of wondering if they'd do something different with the Ring Bomb since it can be confusing. If I could, I'd replace the rings with something else or at least make them a different color like silver.
@@manjackson2772 Cool. I can't run P-O6 and none of the runners I watch are bad enough to get hit while playing Tails for me to be able to compare the rings myself. Glad there's a distinction
I believe I said this already but I hope that they include a free play mode once the game is complete. A mode that will let you use any character for any level(not including bosses). I really would want to take better advantage of these cool new moves and attacks for longer than just one and a half level.
What's the lore with Tails ring bombs? Couldn't they just replace it with actual bombs? In the oroginal game, you couldn't tell the difference between real rings and dummy ones. And its not like Tails hasn't used bombs before.
There is also a glitch where if you play the main theme songs of any of the main heroes and sign out, the main menu will play those songs. Not sure about p 06 though In 06 you could already stun enemies with the drill claw. Love the work Chaos and the fans put into this! Hope to see more vids!

They do look different in P06. Regular rings are sort of dull shiny gold, dummy rings glow like they're radioactive.

In these tutorial videos I use max settings, I only reduce them on my current PC while streaming because my CPU can’t handle it
