Christian Documentary: The Gospel Beyond Borders - Chapter 3 of 8 Ministry to the American Indian
Some estimates say that only 10% of the American Indians are Christians.
The Navajo Tribe is the largest of all American Indian tribes and their reservation is the largest (the size of the state of West Virginia).
They tell in their own words important events in their history and why they choose to live on the reservation. They explain the frustrations of reservation life but also the strong attraction that their land has for them.
Navajo Christians also share their personal relationship with Jesus and the occasional conflict that arises between their faith and the traditional beliefs of their community.

I'm Apache and navajos are warriors they live in every state in the USA including Hawaii and there are navajos in northern Mexico. Very notorious tribe

As far as I know I am not Native American, but I am proud to call these men and women my brothers and sisters in Christ.
Technically, most modern USA people, are part Native (North America & South America Continental Connections).
As Europeans/Africans have been coming over here for about 1000 years, maybe more.
Its just genealogical degrees at this point.

I wish more Navajo people felt the same way with all the suicides,meth,alcoholism, unemployment, murder on the Rez. Maybe we need new holy people.
@@mikeb8317 80% of the reservation is religious to some Abrahamic religious denomination. Therefore we are under harsh poverty and living conditions. Brazil is also the most religious country and is the most impoverished. Countries with the highest rates of atheists have the highest standards of living. I am a follower of the old deities and spirits of the earth. This "documentary" is nothing more than propaganda. Christian Navajos are the most racist and homophobic people in America. Also, these Navajos don't even know what our traditional beliefs are. "creator" or "Singular God" you hear flutes being played and why was there a pow wow segment? The part that ticks me most is where the lady in white says, "We aren't here to bash, that exists in traditional culture but not in Christianity.". There really aren't any decent modern documentaries on the effects of middle eastern religion on reservations

Yes we all have history each tribe and nationality race has history where they came from and how they were treated. I don't y, they bring it up. Yes I know it's history's but we have leave negative and hurt bhind..and Go forward don't look bck. Go forward do good and postive for new generation.

we never see indians show any form of gratitude for letting them live and giving them land reservation. the government could have simply killed them. i know that sounds harsh but still i never heard of any other people who were given these things by the enemy when losing a war

How much of the Navajo reservation is now own by Christian Churches count all acres. Navajo people can be living on these land. Do these churches pay their taxes. Regular working people do.
I don't think they own but leasing with the tribe . I hear they must have license to be a pastor to. But regular shamans and peyote meeting don't pay anything to have their services to the tribe. That's bias.
Pastors and medicine men make hundreds of thousands of dollars tax free on the rez.
Nobody looks down on these scammers, they get held in high regard for putting poor people in more debt.
Difference between Warriors and Conquerors. A Warrior is always Warring while a Conqueror Conquers and then watches the sun set. and are somewhat peaceful. Now lets bring up the motricities that was committed by the Warriors that led to this harsh treatment from the Conquers. The Indians got along great with my ancestors. Not so much the Europeans. The Europeans are mixed and have to many Warriors mixed in.

Navajo people must understand that THE CHRISTIAN religion murdered our ancestors…But yet, they chose to believe in a book compiled by a mad man/HERETIC named Paul. He changed many verses to his liking…He convinced many to worship a holy prophet YESHUA, peace be upon him, who was Hebrew and was born in Nazareth PALESTINE. YESHUA, peace be upon him, worshipped one God. He never mentioned THE TRINITY.
