I've never played a GoW game until this one and, needless to say, Thor being my first boss fight with GoW's mechanics was a baptism by thunder. Never mind fire. I got to nearly last part without too much of an issue, albeit with shaking hands, and promptly got Mjolnir to the face, Kratos went down and Thor goes, "I' SAY WHEN WE'RE DONE." And ZAPS Kratos back to life. Like oh, it's gonna be like that? Okay!

But yes, immensely enjoyed the games and I'm actually going back through the Norse ones. The older ones are a work in progress.
I can see an Egyptian Redo of this with some small differences to fit the pantheon itself, playing behind Kratos vs Seth or Osiris whom are likely to be stronger gods. Edit: I said Anubis blindly, I didn't recognize how meager he was in comparison to the others, lol.

The thing is, he had(Kratos) no other choice. Let's say i have a gun pointed at you but gave you a chance to live. I decided that there are no other options other than doing something i wanted you to do or get shot at on the head. This situation is similar to Kratos and Baldur's. Baldur just wanted answers but as you may know, he desperate, he wanted to FINALLY feel everything, and the "All-father" gave him the "answer" or "solution" to that problem and he followed blindly. It's like giving a man a question that he/she has to answer so they can drink a glass of water under the intense heat similar to a desert in day time.
