I saw a game where snow denied light's scouting scv so hard and light called snow a psycopath, light went for a quick vulture drop. I think that's the responce when your scout is denied.
RT, this was me in this game. I used to be a 1100 rated Terran, but since I switched to Protoss and used the Terran strategy (don't attack), my rating has gone to the 2k+ range. I am thinking of going pro.
Great vid. I do wish we still got full games on YT and not just on twitch. The edits are great and i still get some highlights, but i dont get the full context of the game. Maybe someday we will get those full games again?

I feel as though people complained and an executive decision was made without those of us who like it getting a vote. I didnt know there were major changes being considered on the complaints of those who didnt enjoy it, and whoever didnt like it was able to voice their opinion and the rest of us may not have been able to have the same opportunity. Today I switched to protoss. In 7 games I reached my terran mmr in 200 games. I won my first pvt ever against a guy who was 1850 mmr (I'm 1650) sending one invisible man who killed 30 scv. He said "I hate ppl like you" I answered "I feel you. I'm usually terran. This is my first pvt. Protoss is even more disgustingly easy than I thought". I already knew PvT was the easiest match up by far. I did not know it was THAT easy. You can litteraly do anything. Your mistakes generally don't matter. Don't get me wrong, it's good that there is an easier race for people with low apm to play bw. I just wish protoss player switched to terran from time to time and just experiemced what it is. It took me 7 games to reach a higher mmr than 200 games playing terran.
I think Artosis is playing better than usual with Scan there. I don't get why you quit with the science vessels, would have helped at many points with everything, but especially templar archon. He was using spells late with storm and you were not, despite EMP probably being better than storm.
Ghosts might have been good here. Lockdown has the same range as a goliath, but disables a carrier with 1 hit. And disabled carries can't retreat or fight. Having 4 ghosts with the goliath army would have payed huge dividends.
@@sharpasacueball A lockdown on a carrier also disables all its interceptors for the full duration(as long as stasis). So even a mere 2 ghosts (same supply as 1 goliath) can provide huge utility to the rest of the army. Their tech takes too long for the initial terran push, but if the game continues, ghosts in small numbers can be extremely useful. Just like how in TvP against non-carrier play, some terrans eventually include a handful of science vessels with the factory army for the extra versatility, even though a few extra tanks would do more damage.
Wouldn't a Ghost just to lockdown a Carrier or 2 to pick off with the Goliath when the Carriers fall back be a good investment? Because when the Goliath mass closes the distance with the Carrier, Carrier's just die. Seeing as Protoss have to get a Dark Archon to lock down the mutalisk to kill them off, why would this not apply the same way?
Technically this would be a great counter. But then you have to consider the heavy investment into it and limited APM you have and mental ability to keep track of additional things and actually use them effectively.
Don't Terran consider themselves the best when it comes to micro considering they have to do heavy micro when up vs Zerg with their bio and constantly unsiege and siege tanks + plant mines vs Protoss. Don't they also have to micro Science Vessels to Irridiate things like key units like Defilers in the match up in the match up can this not be translated to using Ghost or 2 vs Carrier? Or is that just too much to ask?@@staarfajter922
Science Vessel Irridate is target ability and that doesn't stop that from being used by Terrans against Zergs, so getting 1 Lockdown off when a carrier group backs off vs the Goliath mass to pick of a Carrier would be so effective as Carriers only start dominating when the numbers get to 6+.@@chloesmith4065

It's a big investment and takes a very long time to build and research lockdown. You try it in your games and see how it goes. When you see your opponent pumping out carriers it is already way too late for ghosts
They don't counter carriers, they are bad against dragoons, arbiters and dark archon. Few ghosts with lockdown to pick up a carrier or two could be good but it's apm intensive

@@rdt1104 To my knowledge, the interceptors return to the carrier to fully heal as soon as their shields are depleted, so the valkyries would perhaps serve to keep some of the interceptor swarm at bay, but they're just very expensive (valkyries 275 minerals). An EMP could be useful on the carriers themselves to nuke them down, for sure. A pack of valks won't do much to the carriers themselves but could distract the interceptors a little. Ultimately goliaths are the needed unit I think, unless you wanna get cheeky and try cloaked wraiths and sniping their observers.

I prefer the highlights. We have Artosis casts for full games, and honestly I don’t really have time to watch a 50 minute game most of the days

My Protoss is 400 MMR higher than my Terran, and I think I study and try like 3x as hard when I play terran

It sounds good on paper but it's not a good counter. It's better to get more goliaths to shoot down interceptors

Maybe a noob observation but why not make some battle cruisers to counter the carriers?
