Do people report any sort of affects or changes after visiting such places? Either positive or negative. If it's a spiritual ground it's quite possible. It would be interesting once again when people of alternate gods have visited what their experience was. Then can it actually be traced back or is it to do with something else.. it could help to prove or disprove any truths in things that are preached within varying places or even the Bible itself. However it really needs to be considered with an open approach and a certain scepticism as well. Old wives tales had to originate from somewhere. Urban myths and the like start somewhere.. whether it's someones creative story or an idea as a joke or is there any truth within it that may have been exaggerated or changed with each retelling of the story.
looking at inhabitants of todays cairo, you dont really have the impression that people evolve.
