You have a skill point to place in one of the various skills. Have you got a plan for prioritizing where you place your skill points? After you get Sarah on your ship you can join the Vanguard and use their flight simulator as much as you want to get your level 4 piloting. So don't waste points on piloting. I max out my starship engineering as quick as possible so I can modify and build ships. Next I would go for weapon engineering. Then Space suit engineering. Watch for Temple Omicron to come up in your mission list.....it will give you "void form" which is invisibility. It comes in real handy. Another good one is sunless space.....it flash freezes the enemy. If they are close together you can freeze several at once....then shoot. I play as a Ronin and use the Advanced Beowulf fully modded with suppressor, short Barrel and semi auto for close quarters. Assassin's or advanced Hard Target with suppressor for long range shooting. I look for those early in the game or steal from the gunshop in the well when he's not looking. Have fun.

starfield sucks
No it doesn't. I just spent a week going through some of my old games and they are nowhere close to Starfield.
It has shortcomings, but I really enjoyed it.
