So it's official that they aren't related, they just live together. About Chuck and Gus, the new Gus' description may indicate that some lore of star park or some brawlers ia being changed because of the game popularity so they maybe have improved the lore and decided that Gus it's no more a ghost (which matches Mortis' description saying that no one dies). By the way, this last Gus part may had been changed or is just that the description it's more confusing now-
