I just ordered this machine from ebay for $280 usd shipped! I cant believe it. I hope it works decently. Im a hobby welder so I didnt want to spend alot but I wanted to be able to weld aluminum and stainless. I have an inexpensive Chinese stick mma welder that does very well and I also have a good quality Hobart mig welder as well as a oxy/acet kit. A plasma cutting outfit is next on the wishlist👍
Hi, you did well, it's an excellent purchase, it's a nice AC DC machine at a reasonable price. You will definitely enjoy it.Have you seen the best arc btc500 plasma cutter on my channel? It's another valid choice 😉
So far everything is working as it should I think. This is my first experience with tig. I tested the stick function and it's super smooth. The displayed amps is off a few amps but not by much. I made my first ever aluminum welds and I was able to lay down a couple of beads. The HF start works good. I purchased the Hitbox foot control and it works great. I haven't used the pulse or up slope/down slope 4t functions. I was skeptical but the machine works. Not bad for the price. We'll see how long it last for hobby purposes
Just ordered one of these from aliexpress… £220 with the optional pedal. Even if it gets hit with vat+duty on the way over, £280 for AC/DC TIG is a bargain
For me it is an excellent machine, both for hobbyists and non-hobbyists, very practical and has an excellent price for the functions it has, especially the ac/dc function.
@@filfithomemade I asked from the seller, according to him 10kg machine has only 145 real amperes while real 200A one weighs over 20kg. Does your machine has enough current for aluminum? What's your opinion, do you recommend this ?

Why are you tig welding with Dcep? I noticed the add mentioned it as well. Is their some limitations with this welder that make this necessary? As this would tend to cause more tungsten heating

Hi It counts that I don't have a professional clamp meter, so the value could be 150/160 ampere detected. At the tig I have not tried the ampere also because I don't have such large electrodes to weld at 200 amps. 😊

This is my comment on this machine they works super great but they don’t have any long Jeopardy wishes to say you use them two and three times put them down and go back. They stop working. Ok, I try, thanks a lot!

@renzosilva5210?
Grazie!
Sir, have you try to weld ac aluminum?
Unfortunately no, I haven't had the chance to try it yet.
I'm thinking of buying one, would you recommend the HBT250P? Have you had any issues with it?
For me it is an excellent machine, both for hobbyists and non-hobbyists, very practical and has an excellent price for the functions it has, especially the ac/dc function.
What is the weight of the welder? As I know there's two versions of this welder. One with 145A and the other with 200A
The weight for this version(200ampere)is 10kg.

Come ti trovi a saldare l' alluminio?? Funziona bene ?

Exact.
Maximum measured MMA amp output is 147amps, not 180amps as it claims. Did you measure Maximum TIG output? Thank you for a very informative review.
