~Working in a series can do a lot to help you hone your skills. This painting project took place over 5 months between workshops, shows and other projects. The painting are heading to the scanner and soon will be in the hands of professionals who will enlarge to four times their size and install in a new hospital being built.

Brenda, what I particularly love about these paintings is that in each one, the viewer can imagine themself stepping onto those paths (or exploring up the stream) and into those gardens. A chance to step away from the hospital for a breather, if only in their imaginations. You've done something really beautiful here.

Oh what a wonderful project! Beautiful paintings! When I had my shoulder replaced, the local hospital had many works by local artist friends of mine on display and it cheered me so much to see them as I went to pre-surgery stuff, then day-of-surgery prep, in recovery, and later walking out to go home. People...patients, staff, and visitors...are going to appreciate seeing your beautiful work so much! Congrats on a great project and job well done! You should be so proud!

Stumbled onto your channel by clicking on this video today, and now you have another new subscriber :) These paintings are exquisite! Having spent many days in hospitals when my husband had multiple surgeries, I can tell you the art on the walls is very important. We would spend hours just lying there looking at the art in the room because he did not want the TV on and didn't feel like reading or anything else. I have no doubt these beautiful works will bring peace and comfort to hundreds of patients, well done!

What an absolutely lovely idea to bring beauty and life into the spaces we sometimes don't wish to be and I couldn't imagine anything lovelier than the series of painting you've laid out for us to peruse. Each painting connects to the other yet could easily stand alone. The subject matter and palette are wise choices that will prove soothing in a hospital setting. They're ALL just so beautiful!
