  • A relatively basic vide showing rounds at Dartford, Holy Trinity, rung prior to a wedding.
    They were cast in 1917 by Mears and are hung above a substantial intermediate level. The ringing room has a medium draft too, however this doesn't affect their go and they are a good, easy to handle 8. The bells seem to be in good condition too, but all 8 aren't rung very often by all accounts.

    Superb footage! They do sound great up there too. I've been trying to end the reputation about these bells being 'tricky, awkward and heavy' (which is apparently why hardly any people ring here - apart from myself), when, in fact, they're perfectly fine and, as you said, easy to handle. When will ringing like this happen again, unfortunately, I have no idea. I've really got to try and get the band to ring on the back bells more, I'm sure it'll do them a world of good!
