I have a pair of the ten inch American made Irwin vise grips that say Irwin on them my 5 inch however are not labeled with the Irwin brand but are US made. I inherited them from my grandfather along with other tools of his since he has retired.

Wish I had a pair? They are one, if not the best locking pliers ever made, and they are out of business? Malco makes Snap On's locking pliers, also, same thing? Good job with the USA tools, Jason.

I own a few usa made vice grips braned irwin they did have a few with the hex usa made in the end mine no hex got mine 2001 my late father Peterson branded version is a needle-nose he got it in the 70's

I know someone that reinforce their us-made vize grips at the end where the screw us they took the screw out and welded it closed to give it simler strength of the malco without that reinforced ring it looks cheesy but works i would not do it for imported versions only usa made
