No boats here either. Did a cruise to Jamaica , Cozumel and Playa. Everything was cool on the cruise, but the freakin ferry ride to Playa del Carmen was HELL!!!! I feel you 100 on this one!

Oh man I’ve been there. I tried a scopalamine patch and ended up not nauseated but sleepy the whole trip. I’ve used the pressure wristbands too and they were ok on a whale watch cruise but being seasick and trapped on a boat is the worst feeling and it stays with you for awhile on land when you get home while your body gets rid of the sea legs. And being in the toilet when you are nauseous is awful. The one I was in faced to the side of the boat so all the rocking was being recalibrated in my head and I think that’s what threw me off. I get carsick too. Blah. So sorry you went thru that. You defo gave it the old college try and also attempted to not be a pain in the arse to the rest of the people having fun. Lesson learned. 🤢
I get seasickness and motion sickness. I went out on a catamaran on a holiday last year, Took a Kwells motion sickness tablet and was absolutely fine! Miracle drug! Also if I’m feeling seasick and I’m on a boat, going for a swim massively helps xx
I'm the same exact way! I get motion sickness on smaller boats, but cruise ships? I'm good. It's so weird to me. It sucks because you want to join in the fun but don't want to ruin everyone else's fun 😩 I feel your pain 💞
When you go down inside the boat it’s called going below. My parents had several sailboats from the time I was eleven until my mid thirties. Their first one was a Colombian 26 with an outboard motor, the second one was an Irwin 10-4 and their last and best was a Morgan 36. The Irwin and the Morgan both had inboard motors which are much safer and smoother because sometimes there just isn’t enough wind. I’m sorry you got sick,have you tried Duncan’s glasses? Maybe they would help. 😉🐈🐈⬛💖🌈
I know you said Dramamine but have you tried Bonine? Its dry chewable and works the best of any of them. I'd suggest using them with sea bands too. FYI- I can get sea sick on a floating dock!!!
Try taking Meclizine before any motion involving activity. Ginger Chews may also help you. I get sick on really choppy wavy boat rides. I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

Ginger pills aren't going to work when she knows she feels like absolute garbage when on a boat... Motion Sickness definitely runs in her family too
