i love the part of its not a storage skill hes just throwing stuff into space and teleporting it back when needed like thats an extreme way to get around carrying luggage.
I find it interesting that when Elya lost her skill, Wisdom of the Ancient, that "made her a genius" she actually stopped acting like a bratty kid and wound up being the most mature member of the group. She remained calm despite the situation, helped in any way she deemed herself capable, and assisted the leader as much as she could as opposed to abandoning him like the other two members did. I can understand why the creator had her wonder off when Altra went to hunt down Marz. If new Elya had gone, Marz would have a serious dilemma of returning her to the smarty pants brat she used to be or not, assuming she even wanted to go back to how she was that is.
Sometimes in these type of stories, I just hope that the ones that betrayed just moves on and live a good life afterwards. You know, like how you'd repent for your sins.
It talks about there being a debt when they borrow a skill for too long. I think that part of the payment for that debt is the MC getting all their skills - even the ones that weren't originally his. Her original skill might have actually made her a true genius, but she lost it in the skill foreclosure when they kicked MC out of the party. And it looks like he's going to be taking the party leader's main skill in the next part of the story.
In a way, it’s likely a result of her wisdom skill, due to true wisdom being a result of experience + high intelligence & intellectual comprehension skills. So the wisest thing she could do is complete her transactional duties to the party, and its leader, while staying out of the MC’s way.
@@Doctor_Odin That does not make sense to me. If Elya's wisdom skill was taken away from her as collateral, then I don't see how her (now missing) wisdom skill could be responsible for her current level of maturity/wisdom.

Ah, this story. It's very cathartic in its setup and payoffs, with just enough space between each event that makes you want to root for someone to get what's coming for them to make the moment sweet, without wallowing in it. This is not a man interested in revenge after all, just 'balancing the books'. Not Lawful, Evil, Chaotic, or Good. True Neutral at its finest. That said, I am curious to see where the author takes it, as we're nearing the current last released chapter I think, and thus right now we've got a world with many, many of the leadership/royal class being very bad people. That's a lot of karmic debt to collect on, but Marz is just the guy to play the bill collector. However, he might not have the interest in it if it goes too far out of his own way.
@@peytonolson676 That depends on how one interprets Lawful Neutral most times. When Marz has Shizuku split up and leave them for absolutely ZERO reason it pretty much all went downhill from there.. while I have the upmost respect for the authors and artists that craft and create these stories sometimes I’m left completely baffled by some of the choices they make. I could name 10 titles right now where this happens. That being said, it’s simply my opinion. I’m sure many of you would disagree and that’s perfectly fine. In fact it’s another reason that makes these stories so great. We all interpret things in our own way forged by our own life experiences. Either way I really do love these characters, their skills, and the overall world. Can’t wait for more 😊
@IndeFaux ah OK. I figured it was being put into a tts type thing. Cause other channels iev seen seem to do that because iev heard the same voice on different channels and words being mispronounced. Thanks
Your channel is one of my favorites to watch these recaps. No AI generated voices or text to speech. Just a smooth monotone narrator giving a very decorated breakdown of the story with pleasant background music and sound effects.
The difference is how you handle interest you haven't paid off yet. In a simple interest loan, the amount of interest you owe is based solely on the amount borrowed. On a compounding loan, the amount of interest is based on the amount borrowed *and* the amount of accumulated interest. Let's say you borrowed $1000 at 10% interest per week. On a simple interest loan, interest is simply $100 / week. So, after week 1, you owe $1100. After week 2, you owe $1200. After week 3, you owe $1300. Etc. On a compound interest loan, the calculation in week 1 is the same. But in week two, you are paying interest on the entire $1100 you owe, not just the $1000 you borrowed, so interest is actually $110. At the end of week 2, you owe $1210 ($1000 + $100 + $110). Next week, interest is $121, so the total owed is $1331. Note that if you actually paid the bank $100 every week, then the loans are effectively the same. It is only when you don't make interest payments, and therefore the loan just keeps going up that there is a difference.
Compound interest is basically interest that becomes greater due to a lack of repayment. For example I loan you $100 at a 20% interest rate due by the end of that month. After that month is up you owe me $120, $20 of which is from the interest but, you can't repay me yet, so the rate continues the next month. However, that 20% interest rate is now based on the $120 as opposed to the $100. So instead of you owing me $140, you now owe me $144($24 instead of $20 in interest). The longer you take to repay the greater the monthly rate of return on the interest grows/compounds($4 difference between 1 month) while, the rate(20%) remains fixed.
Basically it's just talking about how many times debt is added to the loan. In simple if you have a 10% loan on 1000 it will always add 100 to the loan every 10 days. Compound means that the intrest is recruited every 10 days based off the total amount out standing. Going back to the 1000 @ 10% per 10 days Simple would mean that the total debt is 1200 (1000 principal +100 from the first 10 days and +100 from the second). Compound would give us 1464 in debt. Because the intrest is compounded 2 times over 2 payment periods. So when you factor in that they would have had several hundred compounds over several hundred time periods that number sky rockets. In real life you can typically assume you will never use simple intrest.
i am astounded at how many of these good anime / stories there are. but i feel so disappointed when the story ends without conclusion. i do hope the authors and anime people keep releasing the followups and conclusions soon. I really like these types of stories. thank you and i hope i see the endings soon.
I need more really long videos like this. I listen to them well at work well driving trucks. Good way to pass the time well waiting to be loaded. can't wait for more of this story to come out!!!!!!!!!
Dang, this one is very good, saddest part of the video is the cut off perfectly when everything was reaching a Peak in story telling, I hate in movies or seasons of shows, but rarely does a show/movie/story capture your attention and want the next part to be told. Highly recommend this one indeed.
I'm so curious if the insane amount that his former party owes to him carries over as debt, and if so, is there interest on the debt? It would not surprise me if that's how he's going to deal with the party's leader is the interest has accumulated so much that he's even going to take the unique skill that's intrinsic to that person
Oh he absolutely can take Sword Saint from Altra. Marz already has taken three unique skills, Gordon's Obsidian, Tina's Wings of the Seraph, and Alys's Wisdom of the Ancients. In fact Alya and Tin lost their unique skills first after Marz killed Vritra.
It just got at the best at the end I was like let's kick some but lol lol I really like this story and can't wait until the next episode so thank you for all the wonderful content and hard work
Ahh the skill lender hero, trying to kill some one over the reputation and gold. The look of fear on the mages face was priceless when they know there fucked
You know I have read a lot of stories like this you know the trope where the low key guy is secretly the backbone of the entire party but nobody realizes it and they wind up kicking him out because they think that they don't need him anymore but this one right here special they didn't try to kick him out they literally tried to get him killed and not even with their own hands trying to borrow the dungeon to do it for then just because they don't want to pay him the money that he's earned that's really messed up dude they treat the guy like a servant make him live in the storage room only give him rotten food to eat despite the fact of all the hard work that he does for the team I really like how the MC turned it around on them and it serves those jackasses right payback for mother ain't it
I feel like it's mostly Altra's idea to be so mean to Marz, the others just were doing what the leader told them. Heck, Tina was against doing this to Marz and Gordon flat out says he was just doing what Altra wanted. Alya's skill probably made her seem cruel but was just being pragmatic in kicking him out and couldn't think of anything to counter Altra. Or she could but felt it was pointless to argue with a vain and prideful idiot like him. In other words, all of the stuff that happens to Marz in the party is directly from Altra's actions.
@@caiusdrakegaming8087 I don't know dude yeah they were all just following the leaders orders but they all still need to take personal responsibility for what they all tried to do to Marz they all knew what would most likely happened if they send him alone into the bosses he only got out of that situation because they all overlooked what his skill actually does otherwise he would have died for sure and intentionally sending someone to their death is not something you can write off as I was just following orders
@@chauncysmith8030 just saying that you're following orders still does not absolve the crimes committed in your presence. they could have left the party, kicked the tyrant out instead or opposed the tyrant in some way, any way. the fact they did not means they agreed unanimously with their leader to condemn the MC to die thereby making each member equally guilty
Wait... He can only lend one skill to a person (at a time)? But in his past party he was lending dozens, it sounded like... (Explanation was aorund 1 hour and 10 minutes in).
He can lend as many skills as he wants, but he can’t share one skill between multiple people. If he gives the hawk eyes skill to his former party leader then he can’t give it to anyone else. A good comparison might be a suit of armor. He could give the gauntlets and chest plate to one person, the boots and pants to another, and the helmet all separately, leaving him without any armor for himself, but he cannot hand out three chest plates.
Tgank you for leaving your studdering mistake and how you try to fix it. Makes it clear this is a real person doing work and not just an ai reading google translate. You're doing a good job.
At the end, he could have just foreclosed on the sword saint skill and skill points instead of fighting the old boss. That way he could have protected the werewolves.
He was about to take it, whole reason why he told Altra to stop him if he could before he took the last thing in Altra's hands. Ye he could have taken it a lot sooner, but he knows Altra was the worst of the group and thus was the one he especially wanted to get revenge on. Cocky bastard wouldn't think to go after Marz if he lost Sword Saint, so it's a calculated plan to not take it until the fight get going so that Marz can have his just revenge.
Imagine you create a whole new magic thesis unknown to the world and it was all because you got it from a boy who you treated like dirt knowing you got smart because of him Edit: Me realizing afterward and because of the interest not only did they lose the skill but lost some of their wisdom from it as well
Human nature, the idea is that there's only so much to go around, and some people ALWAYS want more, so they seek to make it so there are far fewer pieces being cut from the pie. This one in particular is very straightforward given there's mostly money at the heart of everyone's betrayals.
You know... this is the 3rd story I read / watched similar to this: basically, the MC is key to the entire party and the party were assholes. The moment he leaves, the world seems to always work to prove the MC right, but the former party is proven to be wrong ALL the time... I can sometimes feel the grudge from the writer... like: did they go through something like that based on their POV? (Although, personal experience... it's usually a narcissistic POV) Is this the direction where otherworld manga is going? I... honestly dont like it. It feels more like a "Im right, you're all wrong because reasons" themed. I really miss the time when writers were more focused on their characters growing and proving themselves after hard work, perseverance and growth (i.e Naruto) Edit: Compared to the other 2 I've read, this was a lot more interesting. I like the fact that the writer put WAY more effort in the world building and how the system worked. The others just went with a "just because" route. I like how the writer explain why the situation for former party was turning sour was better explained by comparison... although the explanation of how the loan skill worked was still a bit... iffy... was it Marz who determines how the interest would take effect? (i.e when Angelina came to the village... did he mean that the interest wouldnt take effect for as long as she stayed in the village to help with growing it, or was he talking about the proximity... meaning Angelina would STILL pay for the interest of losing her ability to summon golems later down the line?) Does that mean it's just like a business deal where we can set a contract of sorts and nothing outside the stipulated conditions can happen? And at least the story isnt going for a hard harem route... that gets boring after the 129874318th time. Maybe they will in the future, but at least the writer isnt going hard on it So yea... as much as I dont like this theme... this story is grabbing my interest.
The theme isn't narcissistic, it is a basic "people group up and wrong the individual they think is weak" trope. Kind of like how in group based games the DPS (always the most numerous job) always yell at the support if anything goes wrong...when it is almost always the DPS' own fault. People never notice what the support does when everything is going right, yet they harp all over them when the support cannot fix what the DPS screw up.
I've seen another manga with almost an identical premise. With xp lender that boosted their experience and they betrayed him. Or one where the party composition is almost the same, but MC was a healer/buffer and swordsman in that one.
For a unique reason at least. They hadn't realized he'd be taking ALL the skills they'd been loaned, not just a small portion. Not like others where the team kicks them out for no reason and either immediately suffers for it, or even worse, when it makes no sense that they are suddenly worse.
the casual mistake in speaking at 36:25 is a nice change it reminds you that this is another person talking as they read the manga and not just some ai
Piping hot take: Altra had a reverse straw-man type arc and, looking at it from a slightly subjective point of view, Altra is the good guy You start in a clearly cruel and dangerous world, and your ability is this dangerous and unbelievably strong ability with the side effect that you couldnt use it. Its useless and arguably worse than having no abilities. Then you team up with (unbeknownst to you) the most overpowered character in the universe, and they work with you. Your role in the group demands you to be a leader and demand work from your teammates, which leads to an unfortunate decision created through a single explosion of ego. Unfortunately, that decision went directly against said overpowered character. Now, not only has the character brought you back to square one, as a completely useless person, but is also actively removing abilities from you and your teammates. Desperately you try to make ends meet by upgrading your rank, but due to the MCs actions, it only becomes worse. Then you slowly spiral, yoir teammates are mentally shattered and youre the only one still standing, and youre limping Just a fun thought experiment i guess
More like a bank that constantly renewed loan contract to its sponsors but sponsors tried to skimp on pay and got slamed by the combined interest and gone bankrupt. Remember that banks also sometimes do something like this. You might have debt but until you ask, it will snowball. There were times when banks simply "lose" and give "only current monthly price". It is the same. If he had goodwill beyond their contract, he would have given them the complete debt instead of the half truth.
Hold on, Vritra, an isolated village in the mountains that has a super dangerous dungeon, a sword crafted by a dwarf. Is this the prequel to "SUPPOSE A KID FROM THE LAST DUNGEON BOONIES MOVED TO A STARTER TOWN?"

@@andres121231 This is most likely and probably just overlooked or kept it in because it was funny to them to leave it in.
Your channel is one of my favorites to watch these recaps. No AI generated voices or text to speech. Just a smooth monotone narrator giving a very decorated breakdown of the story with pleasant background music and sound effects.
36:23 I'm so glad you kept this in.
Hey, finally non-AI narration. Keep this up.

yeahhhhhh.....um...i need more of this. the mc is NOTHING like most, he knows his worth, strength, and doesn't act all timid all the time. love this.
I like that when you stuttered, you snapped.
Also like that it was an interesting look behind the scenes
As much as I love this mang, the compound interest rate explanation still goes over my head every time I hear it.
Aww, thank you 🙇 for your response I'll have to see how many years they've been working together.
Basically it's just talking about how many times debt is added to the loan. In simple if you have a 10% loan on 1000 it will always add 100 to the loan every 10 days. Compound means that the intrest is recruited every 10 days based off the total amount out standing.
Going back to the 1000 @ 10% per 10 days
Simple would mean that the total debt is 1200 (1000 principal +100 from the first 10 days and +100 from the second).
Compound would give us 1464 in debt. Because the intrest is compounded 2 times over 2 payment periods.
So when you factor in that they would have had several hundred compounds over several hundred time periods that number sky rockets.
In real life you can typically assume you will never use simple intrest.
What is the name of the manga? I want to read it myself
i am astounded at how many of these good anime / stories there are. but i feel so disappointed when the story ends without conclusion.
i do hope the authors and anime people keep releasing the followups and conclusions soon.
I really like these types of stories.
thank you and i hope i see the endings soon.
Ikr I’ve heard a few of these stories only for them to be forgotten
Vegeta would love that wolf girl with the way she talks about her and her people's pride.
I need more really long videos like this. I listen to them well at work well driving trucks. Good way to pass the time well waiting to be loaded. can't wait for more of this story to come out!!!!!!!!!
FUCK YESS DADDY GOTS THE FULL 1-3
Two hours, twenty eight minutes, and forty seven seconds, and I am still left with a cliffhanger! AAAAAHHHHH!
The fact that theres still people that draw this good in manga still exist is amazing
Another unfinished story. I'm so tired of it(
Ikr
Yup
Aww, I really liked this one. Any idea why is unfinished?
Probably wip @@mangagod
Thank you for telling us, wont waste my time on this one. Hate unfinished storys that end without any resolution
I love that this anime teaches us about interest, loans and cash flow all while still being an anime
Part 3 of 'Princess Killed His Family so he Returns for Revenge as a Villian!' pls
Not for a while
Amazing🎉
This was the greatest manga recap I've ever seen!
It just got at the best at the end I was like let's kick some but lol lol I really like this story and can't wait until the next episode so thank you for all the wonderful content and hard work
I like your voice much better than the computer generated ones. Good job on this.
Ahh the skill lender hero, trying to kill some one over the reputation and gold. The look of fear on the mages face was priceless when they know there fucked
He stuttered!?
It’s always nice to see a character “ripping and tearing until it is done”, none of that unconscious BS
Why nobody talk about his stutter in 36:25 it make my day and i'm not trying to insult you
So... 18k likes and I'm still looking for the promised "next part".
Me too
"and that was when 👏🏾 and that was when 👏🏾" I love how even he messes up sometimes
guys i dont know if you know this but.. you can grow skills irl too, its just slow and you gain them in parts

"Marz started to understand everything more clearly"
imagine altra's surprise when he loses sword saint and cant use it anymore.
furthermore his surprise when marz uses it.
Part 4 please, pretty please, with a cherry on top!!!
Can we have Light revenge part 11 please ❤
Tgank you for leaving your studdering mistake and how you try to fix it. Makes it clear this is a real person doing work and not just an ai reading google translate. You're doing a good job.
This was great, thanks for posting.
Its actually amazing. Not the reading its okay, sound effects. I am not expected any sound effects. Great job.
Cocky bastard wouldn't think to go after Marz if he lost Sword Saint, so it's a calculated plan to not take it until the fight get going so that Marz can have his just revenge.
this is one of the best manga recap i have seen,i hope you will keep it up
The twist was awesome but mostly the moment marz show himself in the battlefield the r all dead meat by then
Imagine you create a whole new magic thesis unknown to the world and it was all because you got it from a boy who you treated like dirt knowing you got smart because of him
Edit: Me realizing afterward and because of the interest not only did they lose the skill but lost some of their wisdom from it as well
i want part 4
Too soon my dude
I don't normally comment but this story is awesome and well done I do hope that there's going to be more.
Let’s give him 22k likes for part 5
idk why but i love listening to the voice its just something abouut the voice
cant hep but feel once youve seen one of these mangas youve seen them all
8:00 GIVEN THE SITUATION XD
The dark synth / synthwave music fits so gud here lol
nice work toon
There are always some betrayal happening in these
Shield Hero effect, lol
i know right
Human nature, the idea is that there's only so much to go around, and some people ALWAYS want more, so they seek to make it so there are far fewer pieces being cut from the pie. This one in particular is very straightforward given there's mostly money at the heart of everyone's betrayals.
His skill lending ability seems really helpful.
You know... this is the 3rd story I read / watched similar to this: basically, the MC is key to the entire party and the party were assholes. The moment he leaves, the world seems to always work to prove the MC right, but the former party is proven to be wrong ALL the time... I can sometimes feel the grudge from the writer... like: did they go through something like that based on their POV? (Although, personal experience... it's usually a narcissistic POV)
Is this the direction where otherworld manga is going? I... honestly dont like it. It feels more like a "Im right, you're all wrong because reasons" themed. I really miss the time when writers were more focused on their characters growing and proving themselves after hard work, perseverance and growth (i.e Naruto)
Edit: Compared to the other 2 I've read, this was a lot more interesting.
Maybe they will in the future, but at least the writer isnt going hard on it
So yea... as much as I dont like this theme... this story is grabbing my interest.
Not being a harem is a strong plus.
I hope there's a part 4 to this story soon because it's really good.
The mangaka actually used financial accounting principles of Compound interest to create and isekai and magic system?!😯 Brilliant 🤩👍👍
I've seen another manga with almost an identical premise. With xp lender that boosted their experience and they betrayed him. Or one where the party composition is almost the same, but MC was a healer/buffer and swordsman in that one.
What is the name of this manga?
I think the artist and writer deserve to be rewarded for such a good series.
Sekai Saisoku no Level Up
@@ivan.art1367 you're a godsend
This video inspired me and i want a manga of it.
(me 30 sec in) oh its one of these where an s rank party gets rid of support and becomes f rank.
For a unique reason at least. They hadn't realized he'd be taking ALL the skills they'd been loaned, not just a small portion. Not like others where the team kicks them out for no reason and either immediately suffers for it, or even worse, when it makes no sense that they are suddenly worse.
i like that the hero party becomes heavily penalized but not straight up useless.
you messing up and snapping made my day 😂, love these videos bro ❤
the stutter was the best part ngl
the casual mistake in speaking at 36:25 is a nice change it reminds you that this is another person talking as they read the manga and not just some ai
This is genuinely the first time I've ever heard my guy slip up. Either that or I never noticed it before. That's some crazy skill bro.
We need a part 4 the battle part was epic ❤
I'd very much like a next part to this story.
The stories getting really good when is the next part coming out
the "that there was a coming for the" got me off-guard, errors are normal and you keep awesome work
Part 4 ?
Piping hot take: Altra had a reverse straw-man type arc and, looking at it from a slightly subjective point of view, Altra is the good guy
You start in a clearly cruel and dangerous world, and your ability is this dangerous and unbelievably strong ability with the side effect that you couldnt use it.
Then you slowly spiral, yoir teammates are mentally shattered and youre the only one still standing, and youre limping
Just a fun thought experiment i guess
36:22
xD
youre a real one, im subbing cuz of that
So this MC is like a Loan Shark of SP and skills. Correct me if I'm wrong. 😢
Can’t wait to watch/read more
Bad news everyone there’s only about another 2 chapters after this video so we’re pretty much up to date
