Even though i'm a bit iffy about hoopa, I pretty nuch agree with all these And some just make so much sense. For instance: Zekrom and Pikachu are both electric types and considering it was the first unova legendary ash saw, it would have been dope to see them team up. The original team plasma special seemed to hint towards a potential storyline with Team Plasma that would extend throughout Black and White, and i believe part of it involved both legendary dragons. Had that been true, we could have seen Ash obtain the Dark Stone and awaken Zekrom from it to confront N and Reshiram in a climactic battle Ho-Oh makes so much sense considering it's the first legendary Ash ever saw and it inspired him to travel and pursue his path as a Pokemon trainer Latias should have gone with Ash during Aim To Be Mid. They shouldn't have wasted our time introducing her, having her bond with Ash and follow him around if it wasn't going to lead to anything meaningful and satisfying. Ash just got robbed Urshifu makes so much sense considering it's a battler like Ash and would be a near unstoppable force under his guidance. Seeing him with a single strike style Urshifu would b dope. Could have been owned alongside lucario or he could have been the ace if Ash had a galar team (i'd give him Inteleon, Corvinknight, Flapple, Grimmsnarl and Urshifu as a potential team alongside Pikachu) And Nebby, he was basically the closest Ash came to officially owning a legendary for real. He was entrusted to Ash, Ash raised him from a baby into a badass lion and even commanded him. He should have remained with Ash after the lusamine arc since they had practically been fated to meet

Man it will always be what if Ash officially caught a legendary and used it in a battle also use it from time to time if in some dangerous situations. Great list for a Ash Ketchum legendary of every region. All the substitution options all make sense. Gen 6 legendary are nah nothing amazing or screams cool about them Hoopa choice is the only thing not many stand outs.
I say very good picks for Ash. Hoppa one does make sense since ash does go to Pasio (which he got there either by Hoppa, Arceus, or he has dimensional powers.). And personally ash is one of those characters who just goes and befriends pokemon. He basically is a legendary in himself.😂
Personally, I would have Ash catch Entei, Lugia and Ho-oh. Ash has a strong connection with all these mons, so for me this would be the most obvious choice. In addition, in Leon vs Zard, Solgaleo is kind of confirmed to be an Ash mon. And he already has Naganadel and Melmetal, further proving Ash can and should have multiple legendaries from a generation if their bonds with him are strong enough. For Unova, honestly I'd pick Meloetta, Genesect and Victini over Zekrom. Ash had WAY more of a connection IMO with it than he had with Zekrom. Another problem with Zekrom is that it's an electric type. Which Ash never catches to sort of honor Pikachu, although it isn't explicitly stated. As for Cobalion, it had almost no connection to Ash, unlike Genesect. If it wasn't for that Reshiram movie, I'd pick Zekrom as well. For Kalos, I think Diancie should at least be an honorable mention, if not a second pick alongside Hoopa, since Ash did have a really close bond with it. For Galar, I'd definitely pick Zacian and Urshifu. Other than that, great choices all around.
I know I’m late seeing this, but another good mention for Ash in Sinnoh is also Giratina. Mostly because of Giratina and the Sky Warrior, plus the Arceus movie as well.

Ash and Go are very different characters and how they view catching, Go wants to catch them all so he would catch Mewtwo or any legendary if he tries but Ash focuses on the bond between trainer and Mon so he would always give them a choice.
@@sunreetgaming5549 Not necessary, Mewtwo's character is all about finding a purpose in life, Mew would've kept the clones safe in the Tree of Beginnings while Mewtwo would stay and be caught by Ash. Ash wouldn't be using him in the Indigo League since he's very aware of Mewtwo's distrust of humans, even though he will be starting to let go of his hate for humans. Over time, Mewtwo would grow personally (much like how he did TC-96's Mew & Mewtwo Comic Drama Series) and starts to warm up a bit while being the grumpy, genetic, psychic cat-like Pokemon that he is. And of course, there will be one instance when he'll meet his "twin sister" in Unova, but obviously, there will ONLY be the two of them, if ya read the TC-96's comics to know what I mean.

Miraidon would have fit Ash better for the electric typing plus if he were to use Miraidon and pikachu in a double battle they would be a deadly combo
