happened just last week with a friend, we were doing a duo on graveyard ops then a guy joins and spawns as a giga gargantuar, even switched to captain smasher after a few minutes, he ended up leaving the next wave but let me tell you my friend and i were incredibly fucking lost on how the fuck that was even a thing before i found this video
Here’s my question though: why would anyone use a mod like this online? To ruin other people’s fun? The reason these bosses aren’t playable is because they’d be far too powerful in the context of a multiplayer game IE Royal hypno flower & Zen sensei. I don’t condemn modding a game to add extra content, but when it can result in other players fun being ruined, that’s when eyebrows start being raised.
I was playing Garden Warefare 2, and encountered somobody playing as a Squash and Gnome and destroyed me. It was essentially a 3 man job to defeat these players, as you don't do enough damage, as they are bosses.
you know the problem, they use the frosty editor (used to make mods) and create the classes (yea, they actually do a lot of work to ruin everyone else day)

Why on earth would someone spend hours making a mod that ruins pvz gw2 servers?! I mean yeah, it looks fun and all, but think of new players seeing hackers playing as super bean. I personally think this mod can only be used in the backyard battleground, and offline games. But apart from the whole works on online thing, this mod looks dope.
the only reason i released it was due to hunters being an issue when i was playing, so i decided to make hunting harder for them by giving them more bosses to hunt, i do have something planned for offline use however

This would be cool if it were implemented into a juggernaut mode where a player is a boss until they die and the player that kills them gets to be the juggernaut. 3 minute long matches with the last player who is it winning.
If these bosses were to ever be a playable charecter, it's best to lower their HP, just so a player could actually have a chance of vanquishing another player playing as a boss, also make it to were The Royal Hypno Flower, or Captain Smasher dont have any of their immortality abilities. Plus make a limit to how many people can actually play as a boss, maybe about 1-3 players for plants and zombies, and a cool down for the next time the boss can be played. That's about as fair as I could really make it. Oh yea and if your gonna have Marigold, and Treasure Yeti as playable charecters DO NOT alow them to drop coins. That could just be a good way to farm coins in a private match.
Cool mod, but at the same time, using this in multiplayer would be extremely unfair. Just imagine if suddenly you're playing turf takeover and some guy with 3000 health just pops out of nowhere and carries the team without any effort.
I think if the servers for this game ever get shut down i think it would be epic if someone combined this with a revival mod with custom servers and modes
Ya basicly a custom server browser that allows you to join modded games and will also download any server-side mods as you join. Basicly clinet-side mods like the sound fix and unlock everything mods will not be downloaded as you join.
Me personally, I would love an enemies mod to use online. Like, none of the bosses, but only like brown coats and potted plants and stuff. It would be funny imo.

Okayy hear me out. An infected gamemode in PVZ GW2 or maybe newer games if that ever happens. But i feel like Infected could be a really fun gamemode to play. and plus some of these mods would be amazing to actually play in Vanilla.

It’s an easy report from the whole lobby and usually results in a ban, so don’t use these online.
If only it was an actual thing; you'd get to be a boss, but you get one, unique life for the whole game. Dying once and you leave, with the coins you earned of course (tweaked as you don't win ten time more coins than with regulars to avoid spam) Back in gw1 this is what I first thought boss mod was about.
Popcap could've made these bosses playable characters/variants like torchwood make them smaller, deal less damage instead of doing a crap ton! (as for the weeds, they could of done the same as how they made tv head and wild flower)

I play on EA, so the only mods that can really be used are bosses and lobby kill, I find it kinda funny whenever I see the Sasquatch helping me to defend the first point on zombopolis xd

It's a cool mod and all but you shouldn't make it able to be played online. PC servers already have enough problems with cheaters and now people are going to play as bosses, giving them unfair adventage. Please just don't you'll make the game unplayable.

I really hope this can come out online, for everyone to play as since it wouldn’t be fair if certain people were like invincible, but I guess you’d probs have to buy the characters tho so only some can be a boss. I guess it wouldn’t really workout unless it was free for all.

i have already done that, no bosses instant kill and none of them have too high health, plus sunflower queen has way less health than what she would have
it would be better if it only works on a private server or offline so it doesn't interfere with anyone's game who plays just
It's a cool mod and all but you shouldn't make it able to be played online. PC servers already have enough problems with cheaters and now people are going to play as bosses, giving them unfair adventage. Please just don't you'll make the game unplayable.
the mod is already released, also i would be happy to not make it work online if i obtained my goal, that isnt the case however

Simply to get the method to mod bfn, even if it’s offline, I already have a bypass for it so all I need is for some self righteous internet cave men (hunters) to cough it up, they act like heroes but won’t make one little sacrifice to reduce skids

everyone , please do not use this mod into a other place of backyard and multiplayer portal in the zombies/plants base bc a hacker ruining the farm of is enemy for the gnome trial is not cool , if this is you VS hacker and you are a legit player , that not fun , so dont use it on online (but if you are in online with friends in backyard use it if you want)
