Skiwelt 2022_23 - Blue 97b

From top of Hartkaiser gondola I was now heading back towards Soll. Target route was Red 97 to the Koglbahn, however after following the Blue 97b there didn't appear to be a turn for that piste. Top of Hartkaiser area was really busy with a lot of people hanging around. Once going it was a case of taking care to make sure I was going in the right direction as this was another run I hadn't done before. Initial path was quite straightforward although there were a few bare patches. Passing under the Almbahn chair (00:35) we keep right as we pass the turn off to the left for Red 98a (00:45) and at 1:20 we Blue piste widens out, but is also pretty heavy going. Some more bare patches at 1:40 were causing some problems. This piste was a really busy route and the heavy snow was causing a lot of problems, making a lot more difficult than many would expect for a Blue. Further down, from about 4:00 it became even heavier and so many people struggled. Not a great run in these conditions.
