Göcek Beach

Göcek, Muğla ili Fethiye ilçesine bağlı bir mahalledir. Göcek Mahallesi adı geçmişte yerleşim bölgesinde bulunan Göçek adlı gruptan gelmiştir. Göcek Mahallesi, Fethiye İlçesi'nin batısında ve Dalaman İlçesi ile sınırında bulunmaktadır. Batısı Akdeniz, kuzey batısı Dalaman İlçesi, kuzeyi Gökçeovacık Mahallesi ve doğusunda İnlice Mahallesi bulunmaktadır. 30 Aralık 1987 tarihinde belediye statüsü alarak beldeye dönüştü. 12 Kasım 2012'de TBMM'de kabul edilen 6360 sayılı kanun ile mahalle oldu. Beldede büyük ve uluslararası yat gezimi açısından önem arzeden altı adet yat limanı bulunmaktadır. Beldenin en önemli özelliği son derece korunaklı ve geniş bir körfez içerisinde yer alan ada ve koyları bünyesinde barındırmasıdır. Bunların doğal sonucu olarak gelişmiş bir yat gezimi gizli gücüne sahiptir. Göcek beldesi Özel Çevre Koruma bölgesinde kaldığından dolayı, çok katlı inşaat izni olmaması sebebi ile konaklamak için 2 katlı otel, motel, apart ve pansiyonlar bulunmaktadır. Bir turizm beldesinin sahip olması gereken tüm alt yapı, donanım ve mekanlara sahip olan Göcek'in en önemli özelliği alışıla gelmiş tatil beldelerine göre sakin ve huzurlu bir yer olmasıdır. Muğla veya Fethiye üzerinden Otobüs veya dolmuş ile kendi aracınız ile tekne yat vb. deniz ulaşımı ile Dalaman Havaalanı aracılığı ile uçakla gidilir. 2006 yılında tamamlanan Göcek tüneli sayesinde, Göcek ile Dalaman Havaalanı arası 22 km den 18 km ye inmiştir.
Göcek is a neighborhood in Fethiye district of Muğla province. The name Göcek District comes from the group called Göçek, which was located in the settlement area in the past. Göcek District is located in the west of Fethiye District and on the border with Dalaman District. There is Akdeniz in the west, Dalaman District in the north-west, Gökçeovacık District in the north and İnlice District in the east. It became a town by receiving municipal status on December 30, 1987. It became a neighborhood with the law no. 6360 adopted by the Turkish Grand National Assembly on 12 November 2012. There are six marinas in the town, which are large and important for international yachting. The most important feature of the town is that it contains islands and bays located in an extremely sheltered and wide gulf. As a natural result of these, it has the secret power of an advanced yacht trip. Since the town of Göcek is in the Special Environmental Protection Zone, there are 2-storey hotels, motels, apartments and hostels for accommodation since there is no multi-storey construction permit. The most important feature of Göcek, which has all the infrastructure, equipment and venues that a tourism resort should have, is that it is a quiet and peaceful place compared to conventional holiday resorts. You can travel via Muğla or Fethiye by bus or minibus, your own vehicle, boat, yacht etc. It can be reached by sea or by plane via Dalaman Airport. Thanks to the Göcek tunnel completed in 2006, the distance between Göcek and Dalaman Airport decreased from 22 km to 18 km.
