For some reason this song reminds us of "Empty Streets". Maybe it's the driving reference, maybe it's the dreamy pop sound, but it's a song that addresses the idea that even when people have known each other for many years, they are still constantly figuring each other out.
+Late Night Alumni I don't get the impression of Empty Streets while listening to this one. On that note, however, I need to say that this is my favorite track on the whole the album, which was the same with Empty Streets. Interesting.
I can kinda feel that. It's soft and bitter sweet. I use to be on the streets of the bay area back in '14. And I used to get "empty streets" stuck in my head when I was traveling. Sun was setting, riding the train, watching buildings pass by. Got off roaming empty streets and me walking homeless with nowear to go.
It definitely seems to pick up where disco left off in the early 80's. I would love to hear a version of this with actual drums, bass guitar, and a small string section
+Late Night Alumni I do hear and feel the similarity to Empty Streets. This has a similar sonic signature and creates a visceral nighttime feel and atmosphere. Streets may cruise on more deliberately, providing that steady, incessant driving feel, but Shades conjures beautiful images of moonlit skies and the undeniable presence of unstoppable love. The twin pillars...power and love. Just beautiful, thank you. I'm new to you...just discovered your band a few months ago and my playlists are overflowing with your music. I am a stage 4 cancer survivor and give motivational talks to support groups and am including some wisdom i've gleaned from your music.

I absolutely loved the sounds on this album. As a long time listener, this one is probably one of my favorite tracks next to light reading. I hope the next album is a blend of eclipse and birds and bees. I just... Hate to say, i wasnt a big fan of the sounds on silver unfortunately. Still, consider myself blessed LNA is releasing music still!
just got some sony XB950N1's and ive been fidgeting with the BASS eq ap trying to find sweet spots for songs or genre, The distorted synth bass is so solid in this song for tuning them.

Yeah, it reminds me of empty streets just at the beginning.
But I love the whole song. 😀
I swear I thought the same when I first heard it!

I can honestly say LNA has a aura about their music that lacks in todays offerings from numerous crowd-seeking artists.. it's truly beautiful.

This song reminds me of sailing the ocean and then finding your way back to loved ones. I love this song.
Probably my favorite song on the new album. Super chill, cruisable, loungeable and danceable.
Why doesn't this song have a billion views?!?! :(
+Kristen Rana a lot of her songs deserve to have many more views than it already has :/
+Kristen Rana Because no one knows them. I just found out.
Lost in mind That's not the point....

I feel lonely, and this song reflects that.
A very under rated group. Great music.
