Dude is an absolute MONSTER! Knows when to use killer licks, crazy speed but also when to simply hammer the drums with simpler beats that add tons of weight to the track. Next level skills as always!
I’ve been playing drums for a little under 3 decades now and it’s a huge difference in sound. I would do that as I was a teen/young man but then when I was like 25 I found out they make sticks that don’t have the thinner tip they’re called Timbale sticks, I felt like a complete idiot that they’ve been around since drums were probably invented and I just learned about them in 2014… anyway I get that thicker abusive pounding sound, and no weak points in the stick, win/win
