You did an amazing job balancing bright highlights and deep shadows in what looked like hard summer sun. I very frequently have others set up their rigs next to me when I'm out taking photos of birds. I never think twice of it because that's the norm in this part of Ontario, at the popular conservation areas, which is partly why I gave up doing video, because there's always talking. But I welcome it and sometimes purposefully go to the popular places just to hang out with photographer friends, as they do too. But if I go elsewhere or see someone I don't know on their own taking video or photos, I stay clear.
That makes sense, I like asking people what they're shooting and why. Other times, I want to be alone by myself, but this video with Nick was a lot of fun to make! Also thanks for the compliment Chris! I have struggled in the past with crushed shadows and blown out highlights so I have alot of practice lol
I'm glad that guy wasn't a complete idiot. Looks like the two of you had a nice time! To Bee honest, that last shot was really nice, worth the stings you think?
You guys know eachother. Funny skit, considering I've run into other wildlife photographers who have set up right next to me while I've been there video recording wildlife for some time. Some of them just can't shutup, ruining the audio of my footage. I usually let them know I'm video and audio recording, which bothers some, and some don't care. Some will be extra considerate by moving further away and turn their shutter on silent, which is nice.
Aha yea I've been there, sometimes you can't have the place to yourself. It sucks when you want to be alone lol. But yea, Nick and I know each other, we thought it would be a good skit since we havnt filmed a video together prior to this. Thanks for watching! I really appreciate it!
Man, that dude had 700 so he beats you in clout😁 Some would say this was a setup, but I believe that you two randomly met😀 Great work even with the pressure of randoms trying to grab your spot! Great video guys😊
