One of my favourite Road Runner shorts because the Coyote didn’t lose or win at the same time. He found himself in a uncomfortable predicament and laughed it off and you can’t help but laugh and sympathise with him.
I first saw this short on Nickelodeon and I could never stop laughing at the flying dynamite gag. It just kept going. Never knew the title of this short. In fact I have not seen it since airing on Nick till now.
and Speaking of Hanna Barbera one of Chuck's writer's Mike Malteste work on Wacky Races for Hanna Barbera which in my own option was way better then the later Friz Road Runner Cartoons.
Yeah, Looney Tunes on Nickelodeon was great. They also aired a much wider range of shorts than Boomerang does now. The Looney Tunes Boomerang schedule should stop being on auto-pilot.
Boomerang still has a better range of shorts than CN did in the late 90s and early 2000s. Back then it was mostly pre-48 shorts, and the few post-48 shorts they got were overplayed to death.
I honestly wish Warner Bros. did more of these restorations because half of these shorts are not even released on DVD nor Blu-Ray. But sadly, there's this thing called money which prevents them from doing more of these restorations.
I actually seen this on RUclips of this Cartoon, it was a Cartoon Network UK or Australia recording I don’t know. And to its day I still barely remember that UK Recording.
I remember seeing this cartoon a few years ago on boomerang spain and i think this cartoon should get restored for a road runner and coyote dvd with all of their cartoons
Yikes. A lot of time is spent complaining about cartoon quality. I do appreciate Matt’s attempt to talk about ANYTHING else. Woof. Totally negative and boring commentary without the guest.
When you have two people commenting on a 6-minute cartoon, it's hard to address everything worth talking about. I certainly wasn't trying to sound negative, because I LOVE this cartoon. I was the one who chose to talk about it! Trevor's point about the print quality is something I would've spent less time on, but it's HIS show, not mine. It's a great cartoon that used to be shown often on TV in much better quality than it looks here.
So let me get this straight. You had to get a decent copy of a Warner Bros. cartoon instead of Warners themselves?.....boy, now I really hate the LT fans and that no good jerk who calls himself a historian.

Without a doubt one of my favorite roadrunner/wile e. coyote shorts. Cracks me up everytime.

This one is prob my favorite of the RR & Coyote. I got to meet Chuck in 1995!
Huh, didn't know there was a Road Runner short which ended on a happy note for the Coyote. Guess they decided he needed at least ONE bone thrown.
Your commentaries are so much fun to listen to!
I too love the classic “.”
(Read the description, see?)
Remember Kids, Don’t Try This At Home!
Jones & Levitow together? Now that's a team up I would like to see!

Also Quick Draw Mcgraw, and the Flintstones, the latter partially alongside Warren Foster.
He also worked on Motormouse and Auto Cat from The Catanooga Cats show which was Roadrunner/Tom and Jerry combined.
2:59 "WHAT IS GOING ON, WARNER BROTHERS?!?"

It's not just money. It's also a matter of what condition the best print or negative is in.
Ferris Wheelhouse That’s also the reason as to why Quick Draw McGraw is kept away from home video. Also the music rights issue.
Also why we've yet to see a restoration of 'What's Cookin' Doc?' as its negative is in really bad shape... but you didn't hear that from me!
@@TheLooneyTunesCritic Yeah, the only time I've seen that was a small portion from Bugs Bunny: Super Star and that print wasn't in the best shape.
The laserdisc copy I have isn't much better.

Don't we all?
roller skis Why isn't this a thing!
Was not able to find a logo free copy, so this is the one.
It's not a bad short at all. I rather like it.

i love the ending, but half the jokes are just the dart bombs wasting other skits.
