Lots of Dexter on the vlog thank you. Everywhere looking so lush and lots of varying shades of green. I love that there is always talk, or visits, of cafes, pubs, food and drink for you both, plus friends, such a lovely part of life. You do have busy lives so sometimes your bodies and minds will tell you they need some R&R, its worth listening to them. I'm sure you dont remember "The sun has got its hat on" from 1932, but maybe from 1985 in "me and my girl" . Enjoyable vlog as usual, enjoy your week, and I hope it contains a cafe or pub or two xxx

Hi guys thanks for cheering me up. Lymm is so beautiful, with the lottery winnings ill buy a house there. I'm afraid I've had a bad week, on Tuesday I was mugged when someone grabbed my bag with my bank card and phone and other important things. It has really shocked me and I'm still recovering things with the bank and phone company. I just can't believe that anyone would steal from a disabled person. It's the first time this has happened to me so i still feel shell-shocked. All the best to you. Stephen ❤

The sun has got his hat on is from the show, Me and My Girl. I was in an amateur performance of that show, many years ago. Robin's nest, remember it well. Oh how I love you two, the banter between the two of you cracks me up. Used to love the sitcoms from yesteryear. I re all my nan and grandad used to watch George & Mildred and we would often have a chat and a laugh about it. One time I asked Nan if she enjoyed the episode last night and she said no Yooths Joyce died!! She wouldn't watch any more of the series. Have a good week.

Small tip if you’re struggling to switch off and sleep at night - try magnesium supplements. They’ve definitely helped improve my sleep pattern 😁

Our accents are from the North of England so very different from anyone down South but we have discussed getting some lapel mikes to help with the sounds of the engine.

Good Saturday! ❤ The Bridgewater is a lovely canal and Lymm seems like a really nice village. I can't recall hearing too much about it before. I do love looking at the houses from the canal. Since I'm past narrowboating abilities already I can see having a canal side home---but if I were able I'd be on the water. 🥰 Dexter is a lot like me on those upward steps. I always stop to "look around' but actually I'm resting! ❤ Oh, insomnia. 🥺 I turn the light switch off and the one in my head instantly turns ON. Everything that I managed to ignore all day becomes an emergency that must be dealt with immediately. Fortunately that's not every night but I still have the bad ones pretty routinely. Hey Dorothy. The Bridgewater was a dream, no locks and absolutely stunning. Lymm is one of our favourite villages. Used to go there loads pre the boat.

@@anthonysmith-storey9247 I like the no locks part. It must be really nice to just keep going without hindrance for awhile before the next lock or swing bridge. Not having lots of moored boats would be nice too so you could go at speed for awhile. They seem like interruptions to the job at hand---but of course necessary. 😊 If I had one of those lovely places on a canal you would be welcome anytime and for as long as you like. What a lovely dream that is. 🥰 I kind of appreciated being sick because I could go to bed and sleep straight through. Even on my 'good' nights I wake up during the night and on the bad nights I might finally fall asleep at 6AM. I remember going to bed and sleeping all night once upon a time. I don't know what happened. 🥴 Have a great day, weekend and week. ❤

The narrow boats over here are stunning and the canal journeys and scenery to die for. Some day you should both have an adventure, and try a foreign narrowboat experience. You would love it X

Having being brought up in Timperley/Altrincham area, the last time I visited Lymm was 1962 to play a school cricket match against Lymm Grammer. I had a school friend called Duncan Jones who lived in Lymm. His dad was a dentist.

What a lovely part of the world the Bridgewater canal passes thru, pity its not CRT really as I guess its expensive to stay on there too long. We went to Lymm for the first time last week so was great to see, brilliant village. Thanks guys 😊 👍
Hey Wayne. It is a shame it isn’t part of CRT. We paid for an additional 7 days and it was a£40! Love Lymm though and we often, pre boat, used to walk the canal there. Glad you got to see it in person. Have a fab weekend ❤️
Brought back very happy memories, my dad loved going fishing on lymm canal and as a little girl I loved going with him, Mum would make us sandwiches and a flask, I don’t remember him ever catching a fish🤣happy days, I can see why you love that area and was lovely to see Dexter

Good Morning "The Sun has it's Hat on" and "Hip Hip Hooray" Loving your banter as always. Lymm looks a really nice, and those 2 pubs at the start of the Vlog looked really good . Poor Dexter-Dog was worn out after his pub crawl😀 Great Haircut Paul, strange that they washed your face? It must be a Lymm thing? It was (nice)funny to see Dexter speed up once Paul mentioned breakfast. Loving the gardens leading down to the canal. I'm with you Paul, if only I could afford that. Having your Narrow-boat at the end of your garden must be heaven. Vaudeville, is that not the American term for what we would have called Variety (in the UK) back in the day. I used to like "Sunday Night at the London Palladium", and then later on we had, "Sunday night at the ABC Blackpool", seeing all the top stars of the day. Your Vlog is bringing a lot of memories back to me today. All those old Sit-com TV shows too. They were fun during the period of time they were made in, but I think the woke brigade would have a word to say, if they were made today. Loving the Jayne Torvill, Christopher Biggins banter. Especially love the sequence when you came into more at the side of the canal. It's good to see maneuvers like that. As always, a brilliant watch. Your Vlogs are so well made and edited. Lymm is beautiful and apparently voted the best place to live in 2017 according to another viewer. Can definitely see why. I can totally see the appeal of the houses but don’t think I would go and live back in a house.

Again great vlog, even puppy sat there and watched Dex, he was also attracted by the music, never seen him do that before. So very pretty. We leave on about the 18/19th to go south to look at houseboats, heaps of nice ones being advertised at the moment, HEAPS out of our price range but most of those are in an area we don’t want to go to anyway, but will they be so nice in real life and will they still be there when we get there. Good day guys and Dexter! Lymm sounds like a quaint place and Dean and I would love to visit some day. I read that in 2017 it was voted best place to live! Just and exciting area to do more research on. The houses along the Bridgewater Canal were just amazing some looked like had more formal gardens, just lovely! Dexter, just bless him! He's just the most handsome fur baby. Dean and I and of course our two fur babies are off tomorrow for a well deserved vacation and we will visit two of our favorite places in Florida.
