- In this video you'll see a 2016 Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG featuring a custom exhaust and downpipes making some dyno runs. The car sounds incredibly good, and after a few tests it ended up making 427 horsepower!
Special thanks go to the guys at BIESSE racing for making this possible: / biesseracing

Looks so darn good. Sounds good, too. Will definitely be one of my cars that I wanna buy in the future.
I love this car!
as an RS owner and personally still love the RS more but I am not going to lie, this car sounds pretty awesome! and looks awesome too! That sound when shifting is fking amazing! NICE vid!
what a nice graph! very linear power.
Such a pretty car 😍
first thing i would buy if i win lottery is this amazing car xD. But wait i didnt buy any lottery
wow !!! look at that room...everything´s so clean...holy shit :-D
very nice car btw !
Its almost like they kinda knew they were gonna make a video right!!???
Ahh, loves the sound!
wrrrrrrrrrrrrr *fart* wrrrrrrrrrrr *fart* wrrrrrrrrrrrr *fart*
Ha! I get it XD
Michał Simlat What is those "farts" anyway? Love te engine sound. omg.
Probably some kind of mini antilag to keep the turbo spooled between shifts, sounds like it anyway
It´s the sound of the DKG Gearbox when it´s shifting.

I don't understand. 427whp from a 2 liter with a curve like that. How the hell did they do that?
Two variable geometry turbos would be my guess.
The dyno graph says "DIN corrected Engine Power" which means the dyno numbers which of couse were measured at the wheels, have been converted to an engine horsepower value. So this car makes 427hp at the engine, not at the wheels. The A45 AMG uses a single twin scroll turbo, the graph looks to show some turbo lag until around 2800rpm, but it's still a pretty linear curve considering the displacement & power output.
427hp at the crank is still very impressive with a curve like that. Look at how much lag there is on engines that are just a few years older.
Boni Hollóssy It's definitely impressive. Turbo engines have come along very far in the past few years.
+anotherone10 good catch, sooo many ppl think the corrected # is what theyre actually making & have no clue lol
0 to 100 kh/h ??
around 3.9 (8) maybe ?
Chris RR 4.2
Makes 490 hp at the crank. Madness !
my dream car
Focus RS killer
Lijevi Desni way more expensive also
focus rs is good car good money a better engine sound luxury quality is a45amg
Lijevi Desni no
Sounds awesome. What's under the hood?
Johnny CincoCero the engine😂😂😂
je kiff le son de cette voiture quand elle passe les vitesse
Nice
Hey man, did you changed the facelift?
Liked the video ❤👍
My friend has a C63 AMG with iPE F1 exhaust. This thing beats the sound of it in terms of goodness. His C63 is very loud and sounds good, but this sounds better but isn't as loud.
I dont understand whats so good about being the loudest, other than noise pollution and disturbance to people in residential areas
Dexter Tyler Me neither. But sometimes it can sound different when it's louder. And that's why his C63 sounds good.
wait this as no hydraulic hood struts xD ??
430 cv per un 2.0 ... Dopo 10 accelerate puoi cambiare motore
+Mattex inglese ma il "gestore" è un ragazzo italiano quindi capirà abbastanza :)
+Mattex vabbene :)
I think I actually get what your saying ;)
and what are they saying ? Tell me ! I'm partly italian so I know what they are saying xD

👌😉
hp to the crank or to the wheels?
I think dyno only measures to the wheels, since it cant be connected to the crank... 430 hp to the wheels in a 2liter is an amazing figure, i would love to be behind the wheel on that thing
crank ofcourse
The entire idea of a dyno is to measure the HP and torque to the wheels.
MrDgroff yes, but sometimes companies/dynos dont count with the drivetrainloss and therefor showing around 15% more power
@@NyckLP nope, it was actually from the crank.. some dynos could measure the power at the engine (crank) itself.. that was why you could see at the top of the graph it says 'DIN corrected Engine power (hp) vs Engspd' which means the data had been converted from wheel horsepower to engine horsepower (without taking the drivetrain losses into account..) and also you could see it appeared at the graph CEngHp/CEngTq, which stands for crank engine hp & crank engine torque..
Wow
What the hell is this sound like
mercedes cls w219
Hai le prove?
december 19th is my birthday and my father will buy me this car :)
i live in africa :'(
don't you melt down there ?
TheDidiwolf34 the funny thing is im white haha dafuq right 8D
Did he buy it? I'm in SA
I want to see whp not engine hp
It's whp because to have crank hp the engine must be alone out of the car
and without the transmission
It's not wheel hp,some dynos calculate crank hp that's why it reads CEngHP
i prefer the rs3. i don't like this one
