My husband and myself are planning a motorhome touring holiday in 2yrs for my 60th and im so excited. We are planning to drive from Cairnes to sydney. We love your videos and has helped us working out where to stay so thank you.
Hi Annette. Thank you very much for watching and for your lovely comments. Will you be travelling on the coast road all the way or inland too? I took my parents on a road trip from Brisbane to Port Douglas a few years ago. It was a nostalgic trip for us as we lived in North Queensland when I was young and we visited the places we had lived. We travelled by the coast and loved every minute of it. Lots of great scenery. Have fun planning your holiday - I am excited for you.
@@makingmemoriesalongtheroad2273 Hi Mez we are planning just coastal all the way then a week in sydney when we get there.I know its a way off yet but lots to plan and motorhome to sort out, yours is lovely x
Thank you for this video ladies. In the 80s my son and myself camped across from the shop just to the left heading up the headland. We camped every year for six week during the school holidays. I loved the time there and the lovely people I met. The children run wild and played lots of games in the evening. No mobile phones or technology then. I am wondering if camping is still allowed.
It is a lovely spot to holiday isn’t it! Camping in tents is still allowed near the headland during select NSW and Queensland school holidays. Thank you very much for watching the video and for telling us about your happy experience there.
@@makingmemoriesalongtheroad2273 Good to see the place has remain in it's natural state. No developers moved in to spoil it. I must tell you I went every morning down to the rocks and collected oysters for breakfast. I must have had around fifty oysters every morning. Thank you for the memories. Travel well you two.
