@@MusicalKinetics terribly lol. I played a recorder before so I thought I'd be able to pick this up pretty fast, but I've never played a reeded instrument before. I watched a few videos and a lot of people have suggested getting a better reed for the Venova so I'll try that.
Why is mine so much higher in pitch, I play double bass so I basically hv no experience on wind instruments, I'm pretty sure I was playing the same thing tho, just a lot higher?
Hey Kyra You can play two octaves on the Venova. There's the octave key behind. But if that's not it, maybe you're pushing a lot more air into it. Check out some of my other Venova videos. It should be answered there.
I have zero experience with any instruments and just ordered one of these. Are there any tips/tricks that you can think of that might help me along a little? I’d really appreciate it. ✌️ ❤️
Hello Chris. Congrats on getting your Venova. Yes, there are some tips to help you grow. I released a course on skillshare for the Yamaha Venova Chromatics. You can take it for free and get a 14 day trial of skillshare. I hope this helps: www.skillshare.com/r/profile/Tuoyo-Eresanara/926426006
Hello from Malaysia, Just ordered mine and i have watched a lot of videos for this thing as well as your Venova shorts, yet there isn't really any kind of proper tutorial out there except from the official channel. It might be hard for me to learn as i have zero basic regarding saxophone or any wind instruments. May i request for a step by step tutorial of venova please. Thanks in advance.
Hey Muhammad Ikhwan Thank you for your comment. This has become an incredibly demanded topic. Okay, I will work on building a comprehensive beginners guide to the Yamaha Venova. Would you prefer full video format or shorts format for this? I am trying to get an idea of what would work best.
Sorry about that. It was a problem when I was editing. But hopefully you got all the content from this video. I will certainly be having more relevant content for you, so stay subscribed.
I just ordered one this morning, I hope for more videos on it!
Thank you. More videos are on the way. Hope you enjoy.
I hope your post more videos of this instrument. Thanks.
Hey Malu
Thanks for you comment. I'll do that. I'll be working on a series for the yamaha venova.
Just got mine today, subscribing
Sweet. How is the playing coming along?
