Gosh you make me laugh out loud. I have my ear buds in and watching you on my iPad. My husband is in his easy chair sitting behind me and he laughs at me laughing at your videos. I’m so grateful to you for almost daily post. Looking forward to tomorrow. 😂❤️
Thank you Jodi. I know some folks become depressed or lonely during this season so I'm going to do my best to post a little something everyday. Thank you for your encouragement.
The music for the 🐧 ice bucket was from Match Game. My favorite gameshow. I used to watch old episodes when I had chemotherapy. 😊 your stores have GREAT items. Thank you for talking over the music and making us laugh. Im in Phoenix, my entire family is in Minnesota. ❤

I’m telling you!… That pheasant plate 🙌🏻. The boy figure has a pot belly because he ate 6 slices of Kraft American cheese and became constipated … My little brother succumbed to that fate
I absolutely enjoy your videos I always learn so much. Thank you for Sharing. I love the Haul basket you found absolutely beautiful. Please Stay Safe Happy and Healthy Have A Wonderful Day

Yes it's true he finds great things in Philly and South Jersey and all the Goodwills in the suburban counties around Philly have nothing. Of course Scott is out there shopping constantly too but still there is NOTHING out here in the surrounding counties of Philly.
The last bowl.ABP Low bowl, 24 pt stars & cut to pieces. 1880 to 1900. That's a good one except it has a broken tooth. The 'pinwheel' cut stars, just walk away. They're from 1900 and later. When demand for ABP cut & fancy glass is waning. Cut glass houses were trying to cut cost. So less cuts is quicker, more cost effective to make.
I thought that bucket would look awesome with assorted glass apples. I have my glass apple (different colors sizes) in a wood bucket like that but you can only see the top apples.
Have you ever used Milliput super fine putty to repair chips in pottery? I have for pieces I plan to keep and was very impressed with the results. The most difficult part is trying to match the decades old paint.
Lovely to see you out and about... Just to let you know..."Parini" cookware is made in China, so may not be the best choice if you want to avoid Toxic chemicals.
Have you ever seen any old prints of James Whistler's Mother. I always thought we needed to bring that New England lady back to America. Maybe the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York could make a trade with the Musee de Orsay or Louvre for the painting. It was in Philly in 2023. Roosevelt put her on a US stamp.
I think it was "The Haunting of Hill House" that had the mysterious blood dripping down the walls? An old movie from the 60s that scared me to death as a kid, and it reran all the time on TV. It was from the book by Shirley Jackson.
@@amyb1 oh my goodness yes that is it exactly. And when I was a teenager during my early years of high school I was in a production of haunting of Hill house for our autumn dinner theater high school show. How could I forget that!
@@oldcuriosityshop265😂 Yes, that movie was super scary! Remember when your ceiling leaked in your loft? That reminded me of the drips in the movie too! 😱 Some things just stay with you forever!
What happened in the 1980's that made everything so valuable compared to today? I've heard you say depression glass was expensive then too. Thank you for all your great and fun information.
@caroldomenicucci8111 - Antique glass 'ferners' were used to display ferns during the Victorian era, when ferns were popular for their aesthetic value. The fern craze, also known as Pteridomania, was popular in Britain from 1837 to 1914. (Victorian Era = 1837 to 1901)

Can you explain that word “ferner”?
Glass dish for the table.....to serve anything you like.
