I understand why Mika doesn't like those comparisons, but sometimes when I switch radio channels and hear Freddie, a thought in my head flashes for a second: MIka! @Mika haters: Mika is too young now, but he has a great potential, he will show what he can! @DreamyQMFC Mika, Brian & Roger are closer than we think. Mika did use Freddie's piano when he recorded Grace Kelly. I believe Brian gave Mika permission to use Freddie's piano. I don't know the exact words Mika used but it was something to the effect of Mika feeling Freddie's spirit when he used Freddie's piano. It worked because Grace Kelly is a very good song.
I Think that the best artists of the history were Michael Jackson & Freddie Mercury...i think that if they were alive,they were happy to work with Mika.
@DreamyQMFC Just an FYI. Freddie started singing in his early 20's. Freddie was 25 years old when Queen was formed. The songs posted in this video were recorded when Freddie was in late 20's, around the same age Mika is right now. And true. No one should be compared to Freddie. His voice was very unique and powerful. I hope Mika records more songs. He has a very nice voice.

Creo que todo el mundo sean fans o no tiene claro de que Freddie es único y que hasta el momento no hay imitador que pueda igualarlo. Mika es otro artista. Incluso considero que no se parece mucho a Freddie, pero me parece interesante que algunos de sus temas tengan su influencia. Me hace sentir que la nueva generación de cantantes lo tiene como referente y eso me hace sentir bien como fan de Queen. Si lo invitan o no ya es tema de Brian y Roger.

@Yo1969Yo Yes, it was the fact that arose my interest in Jan 2007 in the first place :) Moreover, in 2011 Mika was jamming with Roger Taylor in studio (according to producer Greg Wells' tweets). I can't be sure that it was really OUR Taylor, but still... why not?
