So funny hearing you be worried about your friends etc thinking you are acting like a kid for journaling - I was just thinking the same thing about my starting o journal again at 49 :) But it doesn’t hurt anyone, its so much fun and it can only be a good thing to do something so creative and personal :) We humans love to make stuff ❤️
I had so much fun watching this video. In my daily life I am doing the exact same thing collecting all these pieces of papers on the road. I love it! I also like how happy you voice is when talking about journaling!
Love this! Thanks for sharing. I love traveling and collecting stuff. I love planners and sketchbooks but never tried travel journaling. This video was inspiring and practical.
Yesss! I really love your style. Actually, you were the reason I started my TN and I love it. But it took me a while to find my own style. My biggest problem is that in Europe (or maybe just in Germany) the "free journaling stuff" mostly is too big for my TN :) but I can handle it somehow.
I have been journaling since I was about 8 years old through High School. I kept what we called a "Scrapbook" in Jr. & Sr. High - just mementos and photos of memorable events. That would now be considered journaling....lol. As an adult I've journaled off and on, primarily in an online Diary that pre-dated blogs called OpenDiray. I liked it because it followed a format I was used to in my early diaries. There are communities dedicated to specific subjects as well. I really enjoyed reading others' diary entries and actually met 2 women who lived in my town and their children! After about 10 years the creator removed it but then put it back online, with all our past entries intact (yeeaaa) and as I'm (rapidly) getting older, I want to start journaling again but this time in an analog system. I purchased a Leuchtturm-type journal because I thought that's what one needed to Bullet Journal. Later I purchased a Traveler's Passport size to function as my wallet. At the beginning of this year I got a Hobonichi (haven't made one mark in it yet...arrrggh) and this week bought a Traveler's regular size. I think I like buying journals and the idea of journaling...but can't quite seem to get going. I am using one of the Travelers removable books to monitor my health so that's something. ;)
I saw this video like a year ago and I loved it and I have been trying to find it since (until today the algorithm blessed me again 😂), seriously LOVE ALL your style!!! ❤❤❤ thank you for sharing! Best wishes from Mexico!
I’m also the same on with collecting stickers and it’s good to know I’m not the only one who does the same 🥰🥴and yes their sure is a back/technique to getting stickers off from bottles and boxes ect and I love watching your videos
I don’t think there is such a thing as amateur work when it comes to journaling, because it is such a personal thing! I mean realistically, hardly anyone is ever going to peek inside my journal… It is for me, by me, about me. My life, my story. So if there is art, great. If I choose to save random sticky labels and things that are cute, like you do, fantastic! But if it’s nothing but to do lists and thoughts about the day, gratitude entries, etc., I think that’s OK too! 💞Thank you for your ideas! Inspiring ☺️
Really inspiring! ❤️ I just found out that I've been journaling without knowing it's journaling 😂 till recently only I knew there's a thing/hobby call journaling or bujo? (not sure is there a difference....but looking at you journaling, I realized that I been doing it all along which surprise me, I used a simple notebook given by banks 😂and same here whether there's stickers on the food packages, products, cards, tissues, chopsticks and straw holders, plastic covers, menus, maps, tickets, receipts and even price tags 😂 I sticked all of them onto the notebook and its really bulky since it was not meant for it at all. But other than sticking stuffs and writing, I rarely stick pictures which is a shame since I had a instax camera but the films are so expensive so I rather kept them in albums. And then I'm afraid that I won't be able to journal often or daily because of my lazy ass too, I only wrote a lot when I went for travelling. Just wanna say I'm glad that I discovered a lot through your channel and also hoping one day I'll get my very first TN too! which it is totally love at first sight and something I've been looking for sticking all my "rubbish" 😂 but since it's quite pricy and I'm still studying so maybe I'll go for other cheaper options first....also big thanks to introducing Stickerrific...never knew there's a shop like this in KL and can't wait to visit there one day!
What I found cheaper about pictures is make photo collages and print them in A4 format in a print store (no photo paper but the one they use to print cards and stuff) it’s really cheap and you just need to print your phone pics 🥰 That it’s actually the best idea I could have ☺️✨
Thank you so much for the tips! Randomly found your profile on Instagram and loved your feed as I was also interested in journaling but didn’t know where and how to start. This video is really helpful and inspiring. Thanks again. Love from India💗
I came here after watching your tiktok video. Really love the way you collected these stickers for your journal ❤️ I will keep all stickers around me from now on =))
I miss L&P!!! Can't believe I watched the whole video (while journaling lol). Jane you're so cute lah. I also always collect 'rubbish' from food labels, name cards, paperbags etc even beer bottles labels LOL. They say one man's rubbish is another man's treasure lol
Would you ever consider doing a video and showing your Traveler's notebook covers. You have so many that look so loved and I am so curious to see them. 🤣
Thats alright you can always try for future trips or it doesn't even need to be a trip, just a day out with friends and family collecting meal label/ stickers receipt movie tickets just anything literally.

When 6ou find images f4om say magazines do you glue or use washi tape?
