Peter has this voice that would immediately commend your respect. I remember I watched an interview with him once and he said "Hold on to your dreams" in Prime's voice and, man, that hit me harder than I thought it would.

To me this will forever be Peter Cullens best performance ever as Optimus Prime even though all his performances are really Perfect regardless.
Imagine if we had Optimus and Batman in an animated cross over with this guy and Kevin Conroy playing their respective roles. That would be an awesome interaction between them. :)

I love how even in a short interview Peter talks about how much he loves Optimus, those two are the best and deserve nothing less than the best

As someone who's born in 2002, growing up with G1 unlike most child TF fans. I can proudly say I'm beyond happy to grow up with Cullen's voice acting Rather than random other actors. I seriously hope for a Optimus Prime movie too

It's not actually G1. It's inspired by G1, but they don't coexist on the same canon. The 2 Cybertron games are actually prequels to Transformers Prime.
+Matt TooFast4U Ok, but how can it be in prime universe, at the end of FOC the ark and nemesis contained soo many autobots and decepticons, what happened to them in prime, or characters like Jazz, and others who were sucked in the wormhole, what happened to them in prime, or where is the ark in prime? I understand what your saying because hasbro for some reason told high moon to make it prime based, but honestly, this is as G1 as you can get.
Warpathimus Very G1 related, and you are right, there are severe inconsistencies. But officially, the Cybertron games are part of the aligned universe, which contains Prime, Robots in Disguise (2015), and Rescue Bots, among other things. High Moon made it to represent G1, but the lore is officially connected with the Aligned Universe.

+Warpathimus Fall of Cybertron is technically a generalized canon. Like about 80% of the important details apply to all the various adaptations. Get what I mean? :) But it's actually a separate universe of it's own.
Peter Cullen has a very motivational voice.
I love you Peter Cullen!! Still to this day his voice (among hundreds of others from the 80's) brings chills down my spine and gives me that warm nostalgia feeling all over again!! Thank you for still having love for this character and still having the voice to still sound the same!! Going to buy this ASAP..
+graphicsgod The thing that the Bay movies did that I appreciate is that by bringing Peter Cullen back to do the voice of Optimus Prime, Peter finally saw how much he meant to so many kids back in the day.
He genuinely had no idea how many lives he'd touched with the role until he got back into it for the movies.

From just this small preview, I can see a great/loyal tribute to the G1 series and of course the ORIGINAL movie . PLUS having Peter Cullen still doing/being Optimus is always a necessity for true followers.

That voice is so iconic. It’s nice he still loves the role (and paycheck) he did so many years ago that’s a tribute to his late brother really shows how passionate and humble he is in real life. Peters a cool guy.

OK, I haven't grown up to the G1 series. (Where I was born in '93), but I have seen quite of few episodes of it in re-runs, and I also seen the movie. This looks AMAZING. I CAN'T WAIT for this game to be released so I can try to find a way to buy it. It's just wwaayy to awesome to not have if you're a TF fan.

wish they made a transformers game like the one on PS2 called "Transformers" Its an immersive open world rpg game and you get to fight unicron at the end which is badass
The gameplay is echoed in the Cybertron games, but not so much the open world, so that's going on this wish list ;-)
