The movie was pretty good, but it didn't do really good in revenue, but the soundtrack was really great. I know that one of the critics was that the ending was too long. Originally George Strait was supposed to kiss the girl as he held her, but he refused, because he wanted to be faithful to his wife.

I don't want to be a Debbie Downer in your comment section but...unfortunately I lost my fiancée to cancer, so I can't relate to having a "wedding" song. 💔 However, I do have a song that I have dedicated to her, and each time I hear it, she's with me again! It's amazing he stayed on top so long and managed to stay married for 50 years. That had too have been a hard row to hoe for them with him constantly touring.

the movie was "pure country" it was .. well. the soundtrack was good. Maybe worth watching but dont expect much its middle of the road (at best)
I thought it was a good movie, wasn't spectacular, but was more a real life type of story, the mundane even in celebrity lives.
