Dr Donald Corenman, MD, DC, Many Thanks as this is one of the best MRI video presentation. With your this video presentation now I will be able to interpret my own SPINE MRIs. 2 1/2 years ago I had stenosis cleared from T11/T12. Then they fused T11, T12, L5, L4, L3, L2, L1. In my case it is great to learn whats going on post surgery. THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN.

Hi Sir, how are you? I did an MRI scan for my lower back. I have all the pictures, so if I send them to you, can you please have a look at the problem I have with my spine? The place I did the scan is going to take 15 days before they will review it, and I can't wait because I am worried. Thank you very much. Spartak

Thank you Dr. Corenman. I have learned a great deal from your fine explanation. Yesterday I had an RFA to L3, L4, L5 nerves. So far my pain has been diminished to a simple ache which I was told would probably be expected. I must say I was able to move around in bed without waking every 20 minutes, which resulted in the bed sleep I've had in months. Would ever consider completing a video explanation of some of effects of nerve and facet problems. I have been search for a good diagram of the lumbar spine that shows the nerves and labels. I have one provided by a PT person but I am having a tough time really exploring it. I am going to trying viewing my MRI again to try to find where exactly the dr. applied the radiofrequency. Thanks again and please keep those fine concise and easily understood videos and explanations.

When I was 16 and diagnosed with a curved Spine and Wedged vertebrae, which was revealed later to be called Scheurmanns Disease. If they had braced that as a teen instead of ignoring it, it may not have deteriorated to this point which added in my mid 20's with Osteophytes; early 30's, Disc Bulging. All that ignored and add Cervical Bilateral Neural Foraminal Stenosis at multi levels in later 30's. Issue still ignored, and add Lumbar Spinal Stenosis, a compression fracture, and many other Disc Bulges, 40 years old.
The 2 Neuro Surgeons and 2 Orthopedic rejects I seen just passed it off as nothing, due to being complete reject Surgeons , so it was passed off again. Tried loads of Pain management injections - the next one will be Radio Frequency Ablation, which is taking forever as Canada loves to breach the Canadian Health Act with us all and I'm suing my pathetic government for this.
If the RFA works, so well and good for 10 months, but I can't see a surgery being delayed forever, even if no one is willing to touch it here in this reject Province of Newfoundland, Canada.
Canada is way behind the times when it comes to technology and my province (Newfoundland) is the province that time forgot. Stone Age Province. Anyone have any thoughts and in a similar boat while being failed by surgeons to help, and a failing government and no idea where to go to get actual options?
