Have you taken any of the entry role certifications before? What are your thoughts or questions? This course would help you in addition to what you have: bit.ly/secybersafe_recommended_course
You clearly stated it, the material is not enough. I saw some questions that was not the in material provided as I wrote the exam recently and I studied every inch of the material
I failed security+ because I tried to take it 2 years after studying for it lol. I went for this one studied for 2 months (hour or less per day not including weekends) and passed, so it is a good feeling to study and go to security+ again! Also, yes the exam itself contained a lot more than they provide and some came from my experience as you say.
beginners should get network and system experience first, I suggest both isc2 and sec+ afterwards, sec+ is slightly harder, what made my carrer change was taking CCNA and passing, it enabled me to take lots of exams, I got cyberops this year and WCNA for wireshark I work on tier 3 support for a specific vendor and the tier 1 engineers need to understand they need to study basic topics before jumping into advanced stuff
@@SECYBERSAFE I think you are right, honestly I ended up fixing firewalls related stuff by now. which will include all infrastructure topics .. looking forward to jump on different advanced areas in security
I'm done studying for the Security+ exam and I'm about to take the exam soon. I recently learned about this one. Can I use my knowledge from Security+ to pass this. Or I need to start again studying for the ISC separately??
Trust me your knowledge in sec+ is enough to get you to pass this. But ISC2 is a different certification body so they have some ways they ask their questions. Just make use of the video resources provided, by CC... but you won't need to learn much because they would all be familiar
Why the needs to get both. I passed the Sec+ yesterday, I will study for network+ while hunting for job. I feel like it will add more value to your CV than having two of a same kind certificate. Just my opinion
Yeah, you are not wrong... Since you have sec+ that is OK. Taking network+ is ideal... But the reason people took CC was because it was free to take, so why not. But in your case you should take your network+ first then if CC is still free, you can take it...but again it isn't mandatory since you have sec+
I am not sure what your question is but I will answer based on what I think you asked. If you are asking what certification you should take next if you have both. It depends on which part of cybersecurity you have decided to follow.
hello SE CYBERSAFE, I would like to know the value of the comptia security+ (SYO-501) certification from the Alison online course organization, because I obtained it a few weeks ago and saw that it is the previous version of ( SYO-601), is she worthy and recognized for getting a job? thank's
You will easily clear the CC since you have sec+ as long as you can remember what you learnt in sec+. I appreciate the compliment on the tshirt... It is our brand tshirt. You can get it from our Merch store if you like it. Some of my subscribers support by getting it. I wish you success in your exam.. Let me know how it goes
What do you think about Google Cyber Security certification compare with Sec+? I’m beginner and I’m thinking to take one of this first and then get an entry level job. Many thanks
I would say you take Sec+.. It covers much more than Google cyber cert will cover. In terms of industry standard.. Sec+ is always stated in job requirements as an add on... It simple terms, sec+ is more recognised worldwide

Well said... The basic are really important, but it seems your are going more into network engineering and Security path of cybersecurity

Tanx you actually clarified alot of questions…quick question, what do you recommend should me next if one has both of these Certifications

If you are asking what certification you should take next if you have both.
It depends on which part of cybersecurity you have decided to follow.
CC > Security+ > CEH > CCNA > CHFI > ISO 27001 LA > CCSP > CISA > CRISC > OSCP > CCNP > CREST CRT > TOGAF > CISSP > PMP > CISM > OSWE

The recent one is SYO-601 and I don't know the Alison online course organization
That’s a sweet teeshirt! Where did you get it from?
I just registered for ISC2 CC today. Already have sec + excited to compare the differences.

If you pass the Google Cyber Security exam they give you 30% off the Security+ exam.
Are Microsoft cyber security Certification also recognized ?
Very well recognized also. Azure certs.
Although it is niched to Microsoft services only unlike this one that is based on broader knowledge
