I was an immigrant to Canada, it was the early 1980’s and English was new to me. I was in grade 4 and my music teacher Mr. Purdy played this in music class. I learned to play it on the recorder and can still play it to this day. This music helped so much with a tough transition in my life. ‘There is one freedom…man running alone….each step that he’s taking a step to his own… and if he should stumble as he fall it doesn’t really matter if he gave it his all’ .

He can compose a song like this for a movie soundtrack or the Olympics one year, then in another year, compose 9 hours of music (actually 12) to help spinal surgeons stay calm with soothing, non-interrupted tunes during operations. Look up the unreleased "Tegos Tapes" if you interested... harder to find online (but they're there) are the videos of the operations themselves... WARNING: *not* for those who are squeamish.

*Evangelos Odysseas Papathanassiou* was so fully talented and such a prolific composer, very few have heard _all_ of his music. He can compose a song like this for a movie soundtrack or the Olympics one year, then in another year, compose 9 hours of music (actually 12) to help spinal surgeons stay calm with soothing, non-interrupted tunes during operations. Look up the unreleased "Tegos Tapes" if you interested... harder to find online (but they're there) are the videos of the operations themselves... WARNING: *not* for those who are squeamish.
