Please react to more Cellar Darling as you know featuring the 3 amazing ex ELUVEITIE members. They are amazing musicians and the lyrics are great too, checkout Death, The Spell, Pain, Dance pretty anything by them is amazing 😀👍
Great Song ! The lead singer also plays the Hurdy Gurty =) "A Rose for Epona"is another song you should check out by Eluveitie ! Another band you should see is Band-Maid "Real Existence" Live Great Reaction✌🤘
If you never heard of Ad Infinitum,i would strongly recommend you checking them out as well. Ever since i heard about your dads side being Swiss,Ad Infinitum is another Swiss band that people end up falling in love with, once they hear songs with them. Ad Infinitum is abit different from Eluveitie, but common is that they are a female fronted metal band. Melissa Bonny is a sweetheart who has captured the heart of Amaranthe drummer Morten Lowe Sorensen. Amaranthe,Ad Infinitum,Beyond The Black & Butcher Babies will actually be doing a European Tour this year, wich is the biggest band tour there has been in years. AD INFINITUM - Unstoppable will get you hooked on them,if you never heard theyr songs/that song before. Just a suggestion as i took to heart your dads side being Swiss too. Did i hear Swiss Italian? Then you might like the brand new superband from Italy too, with not only 1 but 2 female fronted vocalists. They have both worked hard to perfectionize theyr vocals, one is even a trained soprano. Nocturna - New Evil. I have spoken to the entire band, even pre-ordered theyr debut album that just released. If i see you react to them sometime i will be sure to notify them,so they can come over. They are very interactive and wonderful people. If you end up loving theyr debut single New Evil, they got more videos out now,one being the album title Daughters Of The Night. Lets call that 2 tips for the future lol.
Great song and reaction. The lead singer is no longer with the band. She left with a couple of other members to form Cellar Darlings. Both are fantastic bands. Love Dance by Cellar Darlings and Rebirth by Eluveite. Last one has a hurdy gurdy solo. For more folk metal I like Saltatio Mortis. The just dropped a killer version of The Dragonborn Comes from Skyrim. Also killer video for My Mother Told Me.
I was hyped like a little kid in a candy store past Friday when Epica and Eluveitie announced an exclusive German show in Saarbrücken on June 24. I really can't wait to see my two absolute favourite bands at the same night! Hope that Epica's Simone and Eluveitie's Fabienne will do a duet....I think I will not survive this mega event! So I have to book a hotel because I have to drive for 4,5 hours to the venue and I don't like to drive back home in the Netherlands all alone at night. Really I can't wait for it!!!
After watching some of your jam sessions I'm convinced you're going to like the band Heilung. They are ... well, different, think of Metal in the iron age. In Maidjan is my favorite but you cannot pick a bad one as they are just genius. One of their songs made it into a video game so you may have heard them but that's enough spoiling. Have fun. Note that there is one cinematic video "Norupo" but most of the videos available are from their concert LIFA and they are all of very good quality.
Having played guitar in an acoustic Irish group, songs like this are close to my heart. I was trying to think of who Anna Murphy looks like .... and then ... (don't hate me)... Geddy Lee. I'm not comparing voices and talent, etc... just little elements of head/neck anatomy (nose width and length, the angle of the jaw). OK, enough medical nerdism. Personally, I think Celtic music is a form of proto-Metal. If you listen to old Bothy Band tunes, you can almost 'hear' the missing bass and baritone chug. To me, it proves that flutes, fiddles and shrieking cats ER I MEAN Uilleann Pipes were the 'dangerous instruments' that the parents of the 18th century must have been complaining about. You know : "I'm sure they're out to soil my dear young daughter Meg", or some such silliness. This song seems to fit you, Or maybe it's the modern connection we Northern Hemispheroids make between New Zealand and the LOTR movies, with their Celtic music scores. Anyway, I can imagine you following a switchback-goat-path 200 meters up a steep grassy 80 degree slope, stopping to admire the rock cairns and wonder silently "How did these goats carry all these stones so high up the hill?" Or maybe, you've already figured that one out. If so, let me know how they do it.... I need to teach my Shetland Sheep a useful skill ... and "splitting wooden timbers into firewood with their stubborn attitudes and stunning good looks" is causing me the loss of many hours, honing carpentry skills and bracing beams. Enjoy the rest of you day.
