Done a few of these. I charge $1.50/ft. And it is faster than a house wash. Almost as good of a money maker as washing roofs
Yep. Easy money
Does 1.50 per foot include both sides ?
Negative. 1.50/foot/side
ok..Thanks
I’ve noticed the volume of how to videos you’re putting out is growing as you stop washing and shift your focus to trailer and skid builds and more office work. That’s awesome for people like me who knew zero about this business a year ago. I’ve learned so much from your channel and so glad I took the leap and ordered a blend manifold from y’all and built out my trailer. Business is booming. Thanks GOAT.
Graham Compton yeah I’m trying to keep putting out good helpful vids
More awesome info! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the info Coty. I haven't done one of these yet, so this is helpful. I'm looking forward to upgrading to a 5.5 or 8 gpm machine in the future to make life easier in these types of scenarios.
Lower gpm units are better for this type of job BECAUSE the water supply is typically too far away for a garden hose to reach. Therefore a 4gpm pwasher will utilize less water and will last twice as long as an 8gpm unit.
Great video, thank you!
We did one last month and if you spray close enough and drive your trailer next to it you dont have to rinse it. We kinda risked it me and my employee and yes the grass below died. Customer was happy but when i first started the job i was nervous for sure lol The problem becomes if its too long your water tank is only so big so you will run out of water especially with 8gpm we did both ways and found out we didnt need to rinse. If your customer wants grass to be alive under fence it will be alot harder
Motorcycle is Life yeah really only needed to rinse bow the trees. I like the 5.5 because my water lasts a good bit longer than 8
You’re the man! Soft wash is the way!
I need one of those set ups asap
Great video... Top notch explanation!!!
Debbie Holt thanks!
Great info thank you!
Great video, we use a ranger that allows us access to both sides of the fence. We charge a $1.00 a linear foot in Freeport Florida.
Freeport Lawn Care that’s a good avg price I think
Nope not enuf $
i would love to see a video of this truck set up, very clean set up just would need a chevy truck instead lol
Van, yes sir! Chevy 2500 HD Diesel. Lol but I also run a Ford F250 diesel.
Backside cleaning is the most difficult
Hey Coty, by the time you were able to rinse the other side, was it dry? It's ok for the SH to dry? Also, do you always fill your surfactant tank 15:1 ratio and then draw from that for roof washes etc? Thanks for all of your excellent videos!
Something I’d add is to take note of how bad it is before you give the bid. I just did a half mile of vinyl fence front and back the other day and had to use 50/50 mix of 12.5% and then go back and use a 40 degree pressure tip. I bid the job for just a soft wash like your doing.
It may take a little digging but your much better off to try and source it as local as you can. Shipping gets pretty high on 55 gal drums. Call up all the chemical companies around and ask for 12.5% sodium hypochlorite.
How did you price the fence? Thank you , great info
Recently did 600 yards of this. Super easy work and I enjoy. My process was the same but I DS mine at about 1% and don’t have to worry about killing grass. I think 3% is a little strong wouldn’t you say?
Mikes Entrepreneur Journey I’ve done tons of these jobs. 3% application would be very strong, except that it had rained for the past two days like I said in the video.
For your area, what would you charge per section? How about 6’ privacy fence?
Thanks for video I got a out 3000sq ft of this I gotta do on a job
What about the over spray on the grass? Do you rinse that out?
Love that set up. Do you still have that other truck with the camper shell looking back.
Bender Professional Services we sold that truck a few weeks ago
Any advice on dwell time for smaller jobs?
If you don't rinse, the SH mix won't hurt it? Newbie here, thanks for the great video brother
How do you get water out there to spray off/softwash ?
What is the 3% mixture are you talking about. I have white vinyl fence and I don't want to damage the fence with a harsh chemical
How about charging by the job? No measuring out fence then.
Quick question sir where could I buy online the softwash hose if possible to answer.
Hey Coty! I've got your blend manifold, and finally a chance to use this on 2,690 linear ft and that's both sides. I have a 55 gallon buffer tank, and access to water to continually supply the tank. Fence is dirty. In NC, $1.50/ linear ft. I don't think is going to happen. Might have to bump back down to $1.00/ ft. Like you, let my wife drive the rig, and I'll walk it to put the sauce on it. going to go 2-2.5% mix. Chem is $3/gal.. Trying to figure out costs on chem. I won't be able to use power to rinse, as I only have a 4GPM, which won't draw from a tank. Thinking this might be the time to buy extra Flexilla hoses, and run the PW to rinse. What would you think on the price of this job?
how much fence was it?
Where can I get a 5.5 gpm?
Great video once again. What’s the price on that setup?
southeastsoftwash.com/shop/
they make a nozzle that has a u-turn
lol it looks like your filming in a movie set. 2:14
I feel like I would absolutely destroy the grass lol
Roughly how much total mix did you use on this fence job ?
Disregard lol I watched the video for a 3rd time and caught the amount you used. Good video, doing 1.5 miles next week.
How do you clean with Christmas lights up?
Dan Barker I wouldn’t
How much to build a set up like you have in your truck?
You can check out our options here : southeastsoftwash.com/shop/
Only one side?? But doesn't the HOA realize that the mold/mildew will start to eat through that fence?
Not possible
I cant wait for the f250 review
Forever Self Employed I really need to do that
Vinyl isn't affected by residual not rinsed?
James McGhee not really. It’s pouring rain all day anyway
I found downstream isnt strong enough, took forever for me
Commenting for algorithm.
What's the best way to calculate mixture. My sh is 15% I can never work out ratios i use a chem tank with a fatboy and also downstream always I'm guessing. I'm in New Zealand otherwise i would pay for your course
skdb16 you can get the online class if you want. It’s on our website.
If you use a blend manifold it makes getting your ratios very easy. No math needed
@@southeastsoftwash4020 howdy thanks for your response. I may indeed look at doing one of your classes 3 years full time washer and I would love to learn more. As guess working things is not cost effective.
I would love to do your course and get one of your blend manifolds I'll have a look after we have dinner. God bless and have a nice day.
Google m1v1=m2v2
What is the chemical you are using ? Bleach ?
Yes
HOA only concerned with looks...big shocker.
Cloud 9 true that
@@southeastsoftwash4020 Love the channel, I've learned a lot!
That ain’t soft wash bro
What does soft wash mean?
